;v; i think i'd like to attempt to grow a bonsai one day but
they seem like a lot of hard work, do you have any advice
for growing bonsais yoon?

they are a lot of hard work !!

mine hasnt sprouted yet so i dont have much advice, but i would say to make sure you balance the amount of sunlight it gets with the amount of water you give it. for example, if you kept it inside where its somewhat shaded, then you wouldnt give it as much water as an outdoor bonsai where it gets a ton of sun.

basically just check the soil every once in a while to see if the top is moist, if it isnt then use a gentle watering can since theyre a bit fragile

aaaand i would say that if you arent patient to get a starter kit, as the 'grow your own from seeds' kit said the tree would sprout in eight or so weeks and mine hasnt showed any sign of sprouting soon :c

Another cactus fan!

Speaking of cacti. The ones i have in my room are staring to die, its only q certain type of them which i have heaps of outaide so ive given up

Hey maybe they dont have enough sun?
Certain species of cactus like bright sun.
Might be another issue though.
If you decribe what they look like i can probily help you id the issue:)
Also color description and whether theres any spots or other weird things would help

Also since ive spoken here my plants have gotten crazy amount
My venus flytraps just went through their first dormancy for winter.
They are now bigger and red in the middle a good sign:)

So many new plants ill note them later
This one big succulent (no idea species still iding) just gave me 30+ (counted:/) babies to plant
on top of that my aloe vera have lots of baby plants that they are all in a huge pot.

I think they had to muxh sun at some points and then not enough at other times. i think this post works. Its the circle cacti that im having problems with they have just started to sink in on themseleves and go yello and spotty. The other two types of cacti i have which seem to be delicate and harder to grow are going fine. Im quite confused. The ones im having problems with are my best propogaters

Well my dude, some cacti onky flower for a few hours aha so orchids are doing pretty good in that case



Also an update on my plants, as soon as @Catskitten replied i went to check on my big cacti and the spots have spread to then too! So after some frantix research ive concluded that the culprit is scale
