Hello everyone, and welcome to the “What’s your favorite manga?” thread!
This thread is strongly based off of N3KO_CHAN_’s thread here.

First, there are some rules:

2. Please don’t go off topic; this thread is solely for manga-related discussions.
3. Be polite to each other. There’s no need to start wars or anything of the sort.


Now, as some of you may already know, many popular animes that people watch/have watched are based off of mangas. I got into reading manga this past summer and have been binge-reading several since then. I’m looking for new mangas to read as I continue to wait for the next chapter of the ongoing mangas I’ve recently read. In the meantime, here are some questions that you can answer:

What’s your favorite manga (or ones if you can’t decide ;p)?

My favorite manga is Fairy Tail. I also love Kamisama Hajimemashitae but my local library to where I moved doesn't have it :( I am reading the 2 series I mentioned and Inuyasha

Arguably Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind + Koe no Katachi (not saying the movies aren't great though!)

I just started reading Berserk, and it’s actually pretty good! It’s much different from the mangas I’ve read, but it’s good if you don’t mind all the gore and such (blood and gore doesn’t bother me much, whether irl or not)

FRUITS BASKET! It was my first anime, but the manga is so much better and deserves a reboot. Also someone please license Fruits Basket Another kthxbye

My favorite manga is definitely Tenkuu Shinpan. So interesting and I mean I may have an obsession considering my profile pic and my sig. Other than Tenkuu I'd have to say Noragami and Chaika: The Coffin Princess. I recommend the two to anyone honestly but fair warning that Tenkuu Shinpan is pretty gory.

some of my favorite manga have adaptions, but they're not enough and the ones that don't have one need one.
like skip beat. with that many chapters, a second season should be made or all of the seasons ( i know that it's wishful thinking)
