I'm peeved that harestar made crowfeather deputy, and it's not because I don't like crowfeather (though I don't), it's just because he's too dang old for the position. same with squirrelflight.

they really, really need to let old characters die already, especially in thunderclan. we hardly get any development or lines from cats like leafshade, ambermoon, stormcloud, sorrelstripe, honeyfur, etc because thunderclan is too big as of right now and they spend all their time focusing on the old favorites like brackenfur, brightheart, etc.

one more little thing, I know it's a fantasy series, but I do wish the cats were genetically correct.

I love the warriors series but I definitely have a few:

-honestly all of Tawnypelt's kits annoy me somehow probably because so much stuff seems to happen around them
-Dovewing picking Tigerheart over Bumblestripe though Bumblestripe is clearly the better choice
-Hollyleaf and her obsession with the warrior code
-I really sympathise with Jayfeather and he may be really grumpy cynical but I understand why and I feel really bad that he isn't allowed to make his own choices and has to follow his destiny and how everyone pitied him at the start (*hugs jayfeather, petting his head* there there jayfeather I'm here)
-the whole destiny thing where they had to follow their destiny
-I feel like Firestar shouldn't have been the fourth cat Hollyleaf should have gotten powers
-Thunderclan being like the "best" clan and having all the good stuff like having the three

i don't really remember much of the plot? i just read and read, not really caring what happened, and i've confused characters for other characters many times.

i guess my issue would be to how i could barely keep up with the story, and it just feels forgettable for me. i don't remember what came first and i really only remember bits of the story: heck, i don't know which prophecies and events happened after firestar's become a leader. it's just a giant blur of fictional cats living in the wild with a shady few that jeopardise everyone because of jealousy, revenge and their desires.

also, greystripe felt like a punching bag waiting to be used whenever the story needs a bit of drama to spice things up. he's lost mates at least twice (most cats stick to their one mate, right? either that or they lost one and never got another) and his friend's always at the highest point of popularity. there's probably more to the list but i want to see greystripe as a character i want to root for, not just a character in the background who can't do anything for themselves.

i'm not sure if this happens but i fear that some readers will believe that violence is cool, violence is a sign of strength and that you can defend yourself, look up to violence, maybe. yes, warriors is called warriors because cats are fighting and defending themselves and everything, but wouldn't it be interesting if it was metaphorical? that they are warriors because they can pick themselves up again after conflict, learn to forgive, move on, be strong but still take care of themselves?
so much of warriors is cats fighting all the time, but i don't remember a time where i could relate to a character, look up to their bravery, wish to be like them... again, this could be my //awful// memory of the story, but can we, the audience, at least love and appreciate these characters for their personalities, for who they are, instead of just remembering what they did?

- ivypool believing tigerstar so easily as if he wasn't the most feared cat once
- how jessy would have been brambleclaw's mate if she hadn't left
- appledusk dropping mapleshade so quickly
- oakstar exiling mapleshade and throwing her kits out as well
- jayfeather and yellowfang being forced to become medicine cats
- tigerheart was just a bad choice for dovewing
- silverstream and graystripe. this ship was extremely rushed.
- hawkfrost blackmailing mothwing to get brook and stormfur out
- just tigerstar in general. i kind of wish he wasn't brought up all. the. darn. time.

I hate how Bluestar in the end was like:
IM suddenly not caring about everyone and being a drama queen. Only when she died was she like: Oh I should have actually done my DUTIES like REGULAR LEADER.

I also don't like how almost every cat is oblivious, like: Medicine cat: Fire is your savor (forgot the prophecy) Bluestar: Obviously, that means the element fire is gonna save us *derp* *names a cat Fire* *doesn't truly recognize his talent until she dies* (I love bluestar tho, ^-^ and she is a big role the series)

I also hate how Firestar keeps chasing after the dead medicine cat, like I get it you liked her, but Sandstorm is in love with youuuuu!
