Snowstar could hear the fear in the clanmates as names were called out. He heard Finchtalon and his son's, but he couldn't believe his terrible ears when he heard his name. His muscles tensed and he wrapped his tail around his daughter. "They can't think it was me." He muttered to himself, flattening his ears. "I can't be exiled. I-I can't leave you or your brother or my beloved Daisyslip." He glanced around fearfully at the clan he had taken the oath to protect. He couldn't leave. He wouldn't leave. The leader prayed to those Thunderclan had lost to grant him some mercy and change the minds of those around him.
