Dakota
Dakota has it but doesn't use it, they only have it to check up on their friends, they don't post or follow big things or anything else. Probably only has facebook to be honest.

Jacomina
Jacomina lives on social media and has an instagram page filled with all the animals in her sanctuary which allows everyone that follows her to keep up with the progress and development of the animals she is rehabilitating. She follows heaps of people and posts often.

Skye
Skye is pretty tech savvy and goes onto social media occasionally. He has many accounts and uses many social media to keep up with things. Friends, family, people he's met along the way through his travels. He likes to see what everyone is up to.

ambience is always updating her twitter, instagram, and facebook accounts to post any interesting things she encounters throughout her day. unfortunately, ambience finds a lot of things interesting.
loren:
loren doesn't have a phone or any gadgets, so he has no social media. however, if he did have social media, he would most likely run an aesthetic blog on tumblr.
destry:
destry doesn't post anything on his social media accounts, although he does enjoy scrolling through tumblr cringe or confession blogs from time to time.

noelani: she was raised in the same bakery that she lives in now, and she had a pretty nice childhood. one of the things noelani did often was trick people and steal pastries from their plates when they weren't watching.

ròuzhì: she was born and raised in china under buddhist parents. ròuzhì has been taught all about enlightenment and kindness for other people, so now she hopes to reach the same enlightenment that they did.

amoretta: she's still a child, but she lives in the bakery with her mother and helps out sometimes. although, amoretta aspires to be a teacher like her other mother and studies hard in school.

saffron: he's a child as well, but he usually keeps to himself and only occasionally interacts with his family members. saffron has a soft spot for trinette, and he loves visiting the hospital with her to give patients flowers.

Incarse had a . . . rough childhood. His parents had him when they were very young, and his mother left him with his father, who moved away from New York. He was never particularly warm towards his son but he provided for his physical needs. When his dad left him he was about 8 and he went to live back in NY with his grandfather, who was old and didn't care much for Incarse. It was basically just a place for him to sleep if the door wasn't locked. His grandfather was usually intoxicated or asleep, so he didn't care what Incarse did or where he went. He ended up being taken in by a gang that was pretty rough. That kind of influenced him, so when he was younger he became mean and would get into fights regularly and skip school. As he grew older, though, his heart began to change. He felt remorse for hurting people because of some severe injuries he gave to one kalon when he was 10. He wasn't a fan of hurting people after that and he refused to, so when he was around 11 he left that gang that had basically been his family since he came to the city. A few of the members, the ones he cared about, followed him. He wanted to reform himself, so he adopted a policy to have good manners and appear as a nice, normal Kalon to all that weren't harmful to him. Anyone else would meet his old reputation as a stern, scary kal who would use force. He continued with his habit of not saying much unless it was useful. As a group they skipped around a few more gangs, but they ended up never finding one that as a fit. So they decided to start their own. They had the best thieves of New York in it, so it wasn't a traditional territorial gang. They just focused on stealing from rich politicians, mostly.

Haunani - "When I was younger I would always want to go run around the playground. I would practically drag my mother to the playground and play there until she said we had to go home. We had picnics all the time at the playground, and I loved it so much! As I got older, I grew more attached to roleplaying and gaming which may seem a little weird now that I am a fashion model and designer. I loved games such as Dungeons and Dragons as well as random websites where you could roleplay on. I would have been a weird person to be friends with when I was younger, but I was the greatest friend anyone could nerd out with."

Rajnish - "I was, um, very different, believe it or not. I was, uh, an excitable kit and would always follow the bugs I saw around. I also, um, looked for an adventure where ever I, uh, thought I could find it. I don't, um, know how I got like, uh, this, but I was very different. My parents are, um, also confused by this."

Jaime - "My childhood as, heh, I don't know how to put it. It was terrible at certain times, while in others it was the best thing ever. I got into fights a lot with my family, and I was almost accepted into a gang because of the amount of care I didn't give. I was kind of scary believe it or not. I was almost emo at times when things got rough. Though once I finally got out of that household I immediately changed for the better. I talk to my parents, but I would never go back for more than a day. We would always resort back to our fights."

Alejandro -
He grew up in rural outskirts of Barcelona. His mates, the streets, football, heat, were things he cherished in his childhood.
His 'parents', adopted him, and were human. I mean he loves them, and is fully grateful of all the struggles they went through to raise him. It was difficult - as he's a kalon, and the differences are surprising, but they made it work and he loved every bit of his childhood!

Ezequiel -
Son of Alejandro means he also got a sunny Spanish childhood also. He's a different generation though and he's more interested in keeping up appearances. He's considered popular and wants to keep it that way. His dad spoils him a little, and he can get what he wants sometimes. But he's instilled with kindness his farther has given him and appreciates the life and luxuries.

Zia Lynch - Zia's childhood wasn't terrible but it wasn't all sunshine & rainbows. She was abandoned by her parents (to this day she knows nothing about them) and was adopted by an old couple who were extremely kind but unable to keep up with her energetic personality. This caused Zia to seek her own entertainment which is the reason that she has tried so many activities and eventually got into modeling and comedy!
Lenny Lynch - He had a wonderful childhood; his mother Zia made sure of that! Besides being bullied a little in school for his jokester personality he had a simple but exciting childhood growing up with his parents and his twin sister Dawn in their suburban home.
Nelson Blakely - Despite growing up wealthy, Nelson's parents were mostly distant from him in order to focused on their own work instead of raising their child. Emotionally neglected by his parents, Nelson spent his childhood alone and doing whatever he pleased. He doesn't look back on childhood fondly but has grown to forgive his parents for their inability to be good role models.
Solitaire Pitch - Solitaire grew up in the casino with her mother and her other siblings. She spent her time spying on its visitors for her own entertainment as well as mastering her card games (and card counting) abilities. She's still in her childhood so she's still experiencing it.
Orube Hoho - Growing up in the streets, Orube didn't have the luxury of a childhood as she was struggling to survive on her own. She never had a childhood which Orube believes greatly contributed to her unstable mind before she had set on a path to find inner peace. She has, however, forgot and forgiven what happened to her before her enlightenment and never speaks about her past unless questioned directly.
Samantha Rain - Sam had the perfect childhood and she often reflects back on it with great nostalgia. She grew up on a ranch with her family with whom she was very close to raising cattle, riding horses and constantly being outdoors. After the traumatic riding accident Sam had at the age of nine she was sent away to boarding school for "her safety" and that is when her blissful childhood came to a close.
Terry Kingsford - She had a comfortable childhood, never worrying about any sort of problems except her ice skating career. Growing up in a pretty wealthy family she wasn't given everything she wished for but everything she needed. She spent her childhood on the ice arena; her parents supporting and encouraging her as well as bringing her delicious food that she finds comfort in to this day.
Ruby Doherty & Kress Doherty - The two grew up in a tribe of gypsies. Ruby had the better childhood which she misses dearly. Her childhood was spent training to be the next chuvani, or witch for her tribe, under the watchful and caring eyes of her mentor. She also was able to walk in her childhood which she isn't able to do anymore. Kress on the other hand had a harder time. He was trained to be a fighter, strong when it came to defending the family but also peaceful (a concept he found difficult to grasp). He hated the pressure of obedience that was expected of him and that control from the others made him disdain his childhood. His believes the only good thing that came out of his childhood was his bond with his sister Ruby.

Talk about your kalon's childhood!

Dante - Dante was raised by a single mother in a small, somewhat rundown apartment in the city. Life wasn't fancy, no, but he considers his childhood a happy one. His mother took good care of him, working hard to raise him as best she could, and he still visits her often. He also had the benefit of growing up with an incredibly tight knit friend group he has to this day, spending most days running through the streets playing together. Overall his childhood wasn't fancy, and sometimes things were hard, but he regards his younger days fondly.

Tilly - Tilly's childhood is a bit of a mystery to most people. She just showed up in town one day, and set up like she'd always been there. If asked she'd describe her childhood as being normal. She grew up in a suburban home, with a normal family, going to a normal school. Tried ballet for a few years when she was younger and still knows enough to demonstrate that. The finer details of her story seem to change, though, and it's unclear how truthful about it all she's really being.

Sauin - Sauin grew up the only child of rich parents. Their high expectations, and neuroticism rubbed off on her, and she spent most of her childhood anxious, and desperately striving for the perfection her parents and station in life demanded. It was only later in her teens that she broke away from their influence more, dedicating herself to things that made her happy and striving to treat herself better and develop a healthy self image. She grew up rich, going to the best schools, wearing the best clothes, eating the best food, but the weight of it all was crushing, and she doesn't like to think back to that time of her life much.

Kalila - Kalila's childhood was... a bit of a mixed bag. She was born into a fairly loving noble family, and was well taken care of, but she knew from a young age something was off. She just didn't feel right. The things expected of boys just felt intensely wrong to her, and she felt much more at home when she could escape to Angel's, following her around in her feminine lessons and play. Ultimately Kalila was revealed by a seer to be a girl, something baffling to a people who'd never really heard of the concept of being trans before. Some reacted terribly, others didn't. Her parents were thankfully supportive, as well as her best friend, and so it was easier to get past the bad aimed her way. Overall she considers her childhood a pleasant one, mostly spent with loving people, and learning to love herself.

Ginger says:
"Much like a REAL dog, I was born in an adoption center. At about the age of 4 months, I was adopted by my pal Emily and her family. We've both grown-up together, playing dress-up, "horsey", with bubbles, and even sneaking a lick of whipped-cream."

"I've never remembered my childhood that clearly, nor where I'm from. I had spent most of my life searching for my parents and following the destined path that I discovered was left to me. To protect the galaxy. When I was a tween, however, I remember going through this one stage where I was obsessed with charms!"

" I spent most of my childhood training to become strong and determined. I used to be a naturally quiet, book-worm, but my father had pushed me to become a security enforcer. As well, I also loved collecting rocks back then and owned quite a collection!"
