if there was ever a day that rhys was e
asy to get along with, it has long since
rotted away and turned to ash. he has
this special way of speaking to others
that makes hating him seem like child
s play. he's mercurial and prone to mo
od changes, his temper lighting at wha
t seems to be the drop of a pin. he's im
patient and bull headed, barely even t
rying to look at problems from an ang
le other than his own. rarely a word c
omes from his lips that doesn't have so
me sort of bite to it and he spends mo
re time criticizing than correcting. ev
en so, it's hard not to admire his quick
wits or his perception. his eyes are sha
rp, his mind and tongue even sharper.
his honesty is brutal and almost damag
ing, but there's rarely a lie that rolls f
rom his mouth. while his words lack a
ll the kindness they possibly could, the
re has never been an instant where rhy
s has lashed out physically. that's not t
o say he won't ever or isn't able to, bu
t he's simply much to gentle to do so.
even in his jealous fits, violence tends
to be the last thing on his mind. howe
ver that doesn't mean he hasn't been in
fights before. he has like no chill.

ed by a child. the constant disa
ppointment turned him bitter, a
nd eventually he just shut them
out entirely. as a result, he gai
ned some thick skin, but he als
o grew a bad attitude and a tem
per to match. he worked hard in
school and fled as soon as he w
as able to, first going to a colle
ge in britain, then in san diego.
