What does the word home mean to you? A safe haven, a place to belong. Somewhere to
feel warm and at peace right? Well that's exactly what this pack has. At the site of an
abandon town these dogs make their home. Whatever happened in their past has been
left behind whether they were abandon by humans, born wild, or escaped from a life
of captivity each and every dog found their way here and now they are a family. They
fight, they hunt, they play, they love, they live together and they have found peace.
The pack has been established here for five years, undisturbed by threats with
plentiful pray and shelter from any harsh weather conditions. Here the dogs have
found a place to be happy, but unspeakable horrors are about to come their way and
everything they know is going to come crashing down around them. Imminent threats
surround them on all sides, trapping them, but they have a chance to fight. To survive.
It will take all of their wits and all of their strength. They will either have to save their
home or run and leave this life behind and try to start anew elsewhere in the world.
There will be fear, and pain, and death, they might not make it, but they will never
give up. The fight has just begun.

Act One:

The dogs have not known fear in this place before. To them this place was always to remain safe,
it was to be their home for years and years to come. They were going to raise pups, expand their numbers,
embrace the wild around their little town, but things are changing and everything the dogs know will
be gone. Humans come with their machines preparing to rip up the town and build something else in it's
place. They do not care for the dogs or for the place they call home. The humans only care for themselves
and what they want. They aim to chase the dogs out leaving the dogs with a choice to fight or flee. If they
fight they will have to discover a way to defeat the humans' machines and chase out the humans, but their
numbers are nothing compared to the humans. This fight could bring many fatalities, but for the sake of their
home it might be worth it.

If they flee they will have to face the dangers of the wilds outside of their home. To the North lie the treacherous
mountains, the dogs have no idea what lurks within them or what lies waiting on the other side. It is only known
that anybody who has ventured there has never returned, do they dare brave the mountain pass? To the west lays a
territory belonging to a large wolf pack, the wolves have left the dogs alone in their territory, but if the dogs went
and sought refuge they could be attacked and killed by the wolves, or the wolves might accept them into the lands
and allow them to pass. It might be too much to hope for, that kindness from their wild brethren was so far unheard
of. To the east is where many of the dogs came from, a large city with filthy streets and humans worse than the
ones they currently face. There is no way they are going back there, but maybe they could travel around the city
and find what wonders lay beyond, is it worth the risk of getting caught? To the south come the humans trying to
take their home.

They are surrounded on all sides and they are running out of time. It is time for a choice. Fight or flight.

Rules of the roleplay

First rule is follow all cs rules, if you don't know them please
take some time to read them, I do not want anybody getting
into trouble.

The second rule is this is a semi literate roleplay, that means
I want to see 5-7 sentences per post, or one good paragraph
per post. If you can write more than that great!

The third rule is that you can have as many characters as you
can handle, but let's try to keep genders even, and be aware
that dogs are supposed to lose their lives in this roleplay, so
yes one of your characters may die.

The fourth rule is no power playing and no god modding, if
you do not know what these terms mean then I ask you to go
and look them up before joining this roleplay.

The fifth rule is simply to be as active as possible. Don't post
a form and then leave the roleplay. I won't set a limit on how
many times you should post in a week, but if you are going to
be gone for a week or more then I ask that you let me know.
Two weeks with no activity and no notices from you will
result in your characters passing away and you will not be
able to rejoin with them, but you may rejoin with other
characters if you want.

Sixth rule is fade to black when you need to, this goes back
to the site rules. There will be death in the roleplay, but
let's not make the scenes too graphic, and same goes for
when it is time for pups.

The seventh rule is no being mates or crushes with your own
character. This roleplay isn't centered around romance,
but drama is encouraged so if you want your character to
have a crush or mate make it be somebody else's character
to help keep the roleplay going.

The Eighth rule is to post all your forms or reservations on
the discussion thread, here. You will make your own forms,
they only need to include the basics such as name, age,
gender, and rank anything else beyond that is your
choice to add,but I do prefer well put together forms,
but I understand that not everybody is good with coding,
I know I'm not amazing at it.

Rules of the pack

First rule is that the alpha is to be respected at all times,
you may disagree with the alpha and you may speak your
mind freely, but if the alpha feels as though you are
disrespecting them they have the right to punish you,
same goes for the beta or any lead roles.

The second rule is that you may challenge a higher up
for their rank. This includes lead roles, beta, or alpha
positions. If you lose the challenge then your
punishment is decided by the one you challenged. If
you win then you get to decide what to do with the
loser. Punishments include a demotion in rank, exile,
or death.

The third rule is that the alpha may decide to
demote an individual if he/she feels they are
unworthy or unable to perform their job properly.

The fourth rule is that the pack sticks together, they
are a family, if you leave the pack or are exiled as
punishment for a crime you committed then you
will never be allowed back, the order will be to
kill on sight.

The fifth rule is if you break any of the pack laws
you will face punishment from the alpha which
could be doing chores, being demoted in ranks,
being exiled or even put to death.

I know that these rules may seem a little harsh, but they
are here to help bring drama into the pack and
keep the roleplay going. If you do not like the
way things are then maybe this roleplay isn't for
you.

➣Landscape - The roleplay begins in a small town, it was abandon by humans about ten years ago and the buildings are starting to decay. Some of them are not safe to venture into while some remain safe and sound for the dogs to live in. In front of the courthouse which lays at the end of main street is where the dogs gather for meetings every morning and every night. There the alpha sits at the top of the steps with his beta next to him as the rest of the pack gathers below. The rest of the town has various different types of buildings, there is an inn where most of the dogs lay on old beds during the nights, and there is an old car shop where the dogs like to chew on and play around the tires that were left behind. There aren't very many notable buildings other than that, just places to explore if a dog is bored. They can venture out of the town into the nearby meadow for hunting rabbits, mice, voles, birds, and other small prey, the dogs have never hunted anything larger than an occasional fawn that wandered into the meadow, larger animals typically stay far away from the man made town. The source of water for the dogs is the shallow part of a river that winds along the other side of the meadow coming down from the mountains. The dogs have everything they really need to survive here.

As the roleplay goes on depending on what the dogs decide to do more landscapes will be added to keep track of wherever the dogs find themselves.

➣Season - It is late spring turning into early summer.

➣Time of Day - It is currently dawn and the dogs are waking up to go to the morning meeting, or they have been awake and are waiting for it to start.

➣Weather - The sun is just starting to make an appearance. The air is a cool fifty degrees with a very slight breeze, a comfortable temperature for most of the dogs. As the day goes on it will warm up a bit into the low sixties with a slight breeze. The sun will be high in the sky with a few clouds in between, but otherwise light blue skies for the whole day. When night comes it will be clear and starry above the dogs.

The weather will be updated with each day that passes.





➣Day One - Humans came in the night creating quite a ruckus, they have not entered the town yet, but they are right at the edge bringing with them their machines that they tend to use to tear the small abandon town up. They woke the dogs in the night, but the dogs could not risk getting too close to the humans so they waited until day to see what was going on. Now the humans are setting up to begin their construction and rebuild the town into something more humans will want to come live in. The humans want to chase the dogs out and the dogs must come up with a plan. Now as the sun rises they meet in front of the court house to decide on their course of action. Some might want to stay and fight, some might want to flee, but all must be present so that a decision can be made before the humans start tearing up the town, time is running out.

More will be added as the day goes on, but this is the starting point of the roleplay so that everybody knows where they need to be.
