Name: Charcoal
Species: Fictional Dromaeosaur
Img or Description: (For those who like my weird descriptions, or don't want to look at meh ugly temporary reference.)
Age:Young Adult (About 20 in human years, I'm too lazy to calculate his age in animal years.)
Build/Primary Features: Charcoal is a small- to average sized dromaeosaur, he has long legs and arms, with sickle claws on his feet and three fingers, each with hooked foreclaws. He has large eyes, with cat-like pupils (Slit pupils in the light, round in the dark), He is covered in a long, thick coat of proto-feathers, which almost looks like a coat of fur, He has straighter feathers on the tip of his tail, his arm, and the back of his neck. The only place he lacks feathers is on his muzzle and feet, which are covered in reptilian scales.
Coloring/Markings: Charcoal is named after his coloring, he is a soot colored grey-ish black, with yellowish, greenish eyes. From the distance, combined with his appearance, most people mistake him for a black cat, rather than a feathery dromaeosaur.
Other Notable Features: Charcoal is pretty roughed up, having a hard life outside of the adoption center, Charcoal's right arm is missing up to his shoulder, you can still see small amounts stitches and scar tissue. How it happened? It's explained in his history. He also wears a dark blue harness, with a protective cast.
Size: 8 Ft long from his nose to the tip of his tail. 3.3 Ft tall, from top of his forehead to the bottom of his foot.
Personality: Charcoal is very adaptable, and clever, quickly adapting to new situations.He frequently gets bored of the adoption center, as he doesn't get much attention from it's visitors other than concerned glances. He is constantly using his noteable intelligence to find his way out of the kennel, and out the building, desperate for entertainment. He is welcoming to humans, constantly seeking their affection, but around other animals is where his real personality shines. (Rest if his personality will be shown In rp, I prefer to show, instead of tell.)
Powers (If Any): The manipulation of natural resources, he can shape the ground below him, and create tools and weapons made out if the minerals below his feet. However, it requires a lot of focus, even for a bright mind like his.
Voice/Calls:
Human Voice: (What he sounds like to humans) He has a higher pitched voice than normal, but not high to the point where he sounds like a kid, more like a teenage. His voice is slightly raspy, but not seriously noticeable.
Sounds: (What he sounds like to humans) Jurassic Park Raptor sounds, self explanatory, easy to look up.)
Mate?: Win his heart!

History: Charcoal is a rescue from far away. He originated cold, northern parts of Siberia. He lived at a nearby train station where he lived a easy life. He hunted for his own food, and was given scraps of food by many people. One night, he was chasing something his next meal. Completely focused on his prey, yet oblivious to the rest of his surroundings he ran in front of the train tracks, unaware of the danger ahead. By the time he realized the train was coming straight for him it was too late, for him to react. He was slammed into by the train, his right arm got stuck under the moving wheels, it was only a matter of time before it was completely detached, he barely managed to survive. Luckily, one of the witnesses took action, and immediately called an animal hospital where he was quickly brought to for emergency treatment. A month later, upon further investigation after his recovery, the people who were watching over him realized he wasn't a normal animal, but wouldn't be able to go back to the wild due to his disability, and his trust of humans...even after making a full recovery, and being able to run normally again. It was decided that he would escorted to Karmen's Adoption center, to stay with others of his own kind, and hopefully find a home.
