"Can you teach me?" she asked. "I might give me something to do until my wound is better."

Rose nodded as if reading Nix's mind. She leaned in closer to ask, "Any poetry? Shakespeare.. anything like that?"
She tried looking through the binds of the books, desperately searching for anything relating to poetry.

Apollo

Apollo went up to her and nodded. "ok, i'm ready. i have anything i would need." he said, patting his bag.

Nix

Nix looked at the tiny human waving and smiled. she reached her muzzle into the house before stepping back and looking up at the blazing sun. she had only just cooled down in that lake, but was already heating up. she needed to get to the cool before she overheated again. she looked at the human in the house first though, thinking about what to do next.

I laid down so that he could get on "You scared me for a bit. I thought you were someone that was going to try to cut my other eye out. I usually don't know anymore." I said in a soft, yet honest, tone.

Nix

Nix smiled. " i would love to teach you. and i should have the poems in the back." she said in response to the duo. she went to the selves she indicated and looked around. she smiled. " ah, yes. this is a favorite of mine. " she said pulling a large book down and holding it out for rose. " a poem book. all the poems are good reads." she smiled and started pulling books down and reorganizing the shelf. she smiled at the handiwork. " down that way is where i keep the scrolls." she said pointing at a passageway, near the fiction books.

Apollo

Apollo nodded. "Sorry to scare you." he said climbing onto her back and holding onto her spines.

I sighed softly "You are forgiven." I said softly before spreading my large black wings and taking off into the sky. I wondered what Apollo would think when I was a full pledged adult.

Rose nodded and gently took the book. She began to walk over to the scrolls and began slowly sifting through them. Maybe I can find writings of an old astronomer or biologist, she accidentally said that out loud.

Nix smiled and lay down, like a cat would, half sitting on her claws. she looked at the others, smiling. "I haven't organized the scrolls in a while, so it's a bit of a mess." she called to rose, laughing a bit at her comment.

Apollo

Apollo smiled. he smiled at her.

I thought for a minute, still flying. I wondered how people looked at me. I bet they thought I was a bad dragon. I frowned then smiled at Apollo At least I have you. I told him in my thoughts.
