Another day, another demon. Benji wiped the dark blood from his blade as the demon body turned into ash. The guardian angel wasn't looking for a fight, he just happened to stumble upon the filthy creature. The fight wasn't taxing, and it was fairly simple to kill the creature. Storing his blade Benji made sure no witnesses were around before carrying on. He had to find his ward now, he couldn't afford to keep his eye off of her for too long. With hell's creatures crawling around it was only a matter of time before they went after his fledgling. The thought alone made Benji's wing's bristle and fist clench in rage. As if he would ever let something happen to Evalyn. All the creatures of hell, even Lucifer himself, would have to go through him before he would let that happen.

Shaking away the thoughts, the older male took a calming breath before putting on a half smile. He hated being angry or grumpy around his fledgling. Benji couldn't be happier with the fledgling he was paired with. Eva is a highly intelligent and brave young woman. She gave Benji hope that his niece would grow up to be like her. The older male is always at the ready to help Eva, whether it be for her job or anything she needs assistance with really.

"You can't tell me how to live my life!" Monica screamed. Standing at her houses front door, the fledgling was glaring at her mother. The two were back at it again, constantly fighting and at each other's throat.

"Yes I can, I am your mother young lady. You are not going to that party. You are failing school." Her mother snipped back.

"Watch me!" With a huff Monica spun around and walked out, making sure to slam the door so hard that the house shook. Completely livid the 18-year-old stormed off, stomping towards town as she angrily muttered to herself. "Stupid mom thinking she can tell me what to do. I do what I want." It didn't take the female long to reach her destination, her usual meeting place with Vaedix. While Monica did have a party she wanted to attend to, that was later. Now she just wanted to train with her guardian and blow off some steam.
