for years humans have roamed the earth.
in their wake came creatures of fantasy.
nobody knows how any of these creatures
came to be, but since they revealed themselves
centuries ago one thing has been for certain,
humans do not enjoy sharing their world with
these beings. humans fear these supernatural
creatures, and with that fear came a hatred.
ever since the first fantasy creature showed
themself, humans have been hunting them
nonstop for decades, and they wont stop until
every supernatural being has been extinguished.
what humans call "the great hunt" supernaturals
call survival. these different beings have started
to go into hiding, and with hiding sanctuaries for
these creatures have begun to spring up.

camp castaway is one of those safe havens.
our little camp sanctuary is hidden deep within
salmon-challis national forest in the state of idaho.
even though the camp is far out of reach of humans
it is protected by magic, making it so it is hidden to
normal human eyes. here at camp castaway we take
in many types of young supernaturals. it doesnt
matter if youve been abandoned, orphaned, neglected
or if youve run away or if youre parents sent you here
because you wanted to be here, well take you in for just
the summer or all year round. youll participate in camp
activities, make friends, and have fun.

so without further ado i welcome you to this wonderful
camp and hope you enjoy your stay.

location
camp castaway is located in one of americas
national forests; salmon-challis national forest
in the state of idaho. it is hidden deep within
the forest so no normal human can ever get
to it. and for extra protection, the camp has
a magical spell on it so no mortal can see
the camp even if theyre looking directly
at it.

within the camp
when you enter the camp youll be met
with a large wooden sing hanging from two
of the pine trees, and it say "welcome to
camp castaway" in bright orange wooden
letters. surrounding the camp as a sort of
border are very large pine trees, which have
grown close together. there is no actual wall
surrounding the camp, just the trees. in
camp there are two sections, the front half,
and the back half. the front half is where
youll find all the buildings, and the back half
is where the lake is. going from the entrance
to camp, down the middle of camp to the lake
and branching off to each building within camp
is a gravel path which has lights lining it.

mess hall
upon entering camp and looking to the
left youll find the mess hall. the mess hall
is where everyone eats, and its open from
six a.m. to ten p.m. the mess hall, like most
of the other buildings, is made from logs.
the logs actually go vertically instead of
horizontally. the mess is is shaped like a
large rectangle, and its roof is flat, except for
large sign intop of it saying "mess hall" in
bright orange wooden letters. out in front of
the mess hall bushes surround it, pressed up
against the building. two wooden doors lead
into the mess hall, where large wooden tables
stand in rows of three by five, with wooden
benches surrounding them. in the back there is
a kitchen if one wishes to make their food, but
come time to eat food will magically appear on
your plate. windows line the walls, letting
natural light filter into the room. on the ceiling
there are lights, and ceiling fans.

cabins
upon entering camp and looking to the
rights youll find four cabins. they stand
clustered together in a small circle. in the
center of the cabins the gravel path turns
into a large gravle circle, with small paths
leading up to each cabin. each cabin also
looks the same on the outside and inside.
the cabins stand on stilts high enough for
people to sand under them with room to jump.
under there is where most team building will happen.
wooden stairs lead from the path up to a deck
which wraps around the perimeter of the cabin.
the cabins are made from wooden logs which
go horizontally. from the windows hang flower
pots where flowers of different types grow. fairy
lights string around the roof, down to the railings
surrounding the deck, and go to the other cabins.
wooden chairs with colorful cushions sit infront
and behind the cabins on their decks, with a glass
table sitting in the middle of them. on either side of
the door is a window. upon entering the cabin you
enter a living space with a large colorful circle rug
placed in the middle of the room. a couch sits facing
the left wall, where a tv sits ontop of a stand. within
the stand are movies, game consoles, and video games.
sitting on either side of the couch are two chairs.
in front of the couch is a glass coffee table. behind the
couch on the right wall is a large book shelf with many
books sitting on it. fairy lights hang from the celing
where actual lights are. windows line the walls, allowing
light in. on the far wall stairs lead up to the second floor.
on the second floor are three bedrooms and a bathroom.
in the first bedroom there is only one bed. thats because
its the counselors bedroom. it has two windows,
a desk, a closet, and anything else the counselor
has added into it. in the other two bedrooms
there are two beds which can come together to make
a bunk bed. each room contains two desks, two windows,
a closet, two chests for clothes, a few shelves, and
anything else the campers have added in. the bathroom
is nothing special. it contains a sink, a toilet, a bathtub, and
a shower.

activities hall
standing next to the mess hall on the left
side of camp is the activities hall. it looks
identical to the mess hall on the outside, except
its sign says "activities hall" and it has a roof,
and a large clock sits on the face of the building.
inside to the left is a tv with a few couches standing
around it. in the center of the room is a foosball table,
an air hockey table, and a ping pong table. to the right
is another sitting area with a few couches, but theres
no tv. this spot is for playing bored games or card games.
on the back wall is a set of stairs. if you go up and to the
right youll find a fire place with couches around it. this
is the reading nook. on the right youll find three doors. one
door leads to a girls bathroom, the second door goes to a boys
bathroom, and the third door is to a room where kids can
paint, draw, and play instruments.

bonfire area
just past the cabins, standing at a safe
distance away from everything is a small
pavilion. a large bonfire pit stands in the middle
with benches surrounding it. fairy lights hang
above it.

lake
the lake stands at the far end of the whole
camp. it is very large. docks are dotted around it.
some of the docks have boats at them. one can fish
from the docks, or take a boat out and fish from there.
willow trees surround the whole lake, and sand
has been placed around it so it would feel more
like a beach. a vollyball net stands on the
makeshift beach.
