Any Mages over the age of sixteen---
are allowed to compete for the title---
of Magni Magus. There is a series of---
battles, putting Mages against each---
other. The winner goes to the next----
round. Eventually, a victor emerges----
for one final duel.---

---Everyone knows of their existence,

Once there is a winner, there is one more fight. The person must duel the previous year's champion.
The champion can refuse the duel, but they in turn forfeit their title of Magni Magus.

Even though Mages have lived among the humans for a while, they are still distrusted and avoided at times.
People fear what they cannot understand, after all.
Eventually, the Mage battles were created, allowing the Mages to earn a high position and more.
What some of them do not know is that it was made to keep the strongest Mages under control. They used the battles to
identify the most powerful Mages, so they could in turn offer them a spot higher up.
Keeping one's "enemies" close seemed to be their logic.

You may have up to three abilities, the more you have means the weaker they are.
If you have one ability only, it will be much stronger than someone with three.
You do not need to choose from the specific abilities listed,
I have just put them as examples of what they could be.
Feel free to make your own– if you're not sure what category something would be in,
PM me or post in the discussion thread!
Also, please try to choose different abilities.
It's fine if you have some in common, but it's more interesting with variety.

i. All Chicken Smoothie rules apply.
Please keep swearing to a minimum. No overly gory scenes.

ii. No powerplaying or godmodding. No perfect or overpowered characters.
No character is perfect, and your character is not invincible.

iii. Do not kill another user's character without permission.
Minor injuries are okay, as long as the roleplayer is fine with it.

iv. Write at least three complete sentences.
Use correct grammar and spelling to the best of your ability.
If you do not reply to the roleplay for ten days without notifying me,
I have the right to remove your characters.

v. Please keep competing Mage ages 16 - 20.
The maximum amount of competing Mages you can make is two.
They must be from different power categories.
Please elaborate on what type of abilities they have!
See the post above about powers.
Do not be your own crush or significant other.
