Jessica was appalled by his reaction. How could he had done that? "Stop!" She growled louder. She rushed after him, slamming into his side and staring down at the little bird. She could see it flapping it's wing but it was snapped. Tears welded in her eyes as she gently used her wings to pick it up, as she sat down on her hunches. "Why?" She said in a more teary voice.

Faux//fire dragonette//loner//tags: Jessica

The green dragon gave a startled and rather defensive hiss at the other dragonette's actions, his wings reflexively flapping about to keep his balance when pushed. He didn't understand Jessica's own reaction to the dead bird- had no other dragons caught prey? He did what he had to survive on his own, surely there was nothing wrong with that? Though his barbed tail lashed about behind him in outrage at the sight of the other reptile taking his prey, her outcries confused him enough to sit still. "What?" Faux questioned sharply, his initial resentment changing to confusion as he looked pointedly at the multiple birds laying with the rest of the hunted food. She had to have eaten something of the sort before, right? What made her so upset about this one? The fire dragonette looked back to Novissime and Gremdon to see if he had really done something wrong- after all, this was his first time with other dragons aside from when Zen had found him earlier that day.

Noviss found herself rather confused by Jessica as well. She knew what had triggered the reaction, but from what she knew the hatchling was fine with eating meat. Perhaps Hunris hadn't mentioned that to her; he did know her the best after all. She gave Faux a small nod, beckoning him closer.

Killok felt a bubble in him. he snorted and brought his head down to Zen's. He bellowed smoke into his face, ''did you ever hear that tale about the lion and the donkey? I assume not but as the tale goes.'' he pause and lifted his wings up ''story time.'' he said loudly and gruffly. ''a proud lion, me, was walking with great respect and the other beasts showed respect as well. Then out of the blue a donkey appeared and started mocking the lion. You are the donkey.'' he was sneering at Zen ''the lion was furious and raised a paw to skrike the donkey but lowered it and walked away. You know why? Because that donkey wasn't worthy to be touched be a great lion... and that will end my story.'' Arching his head higher than before out of the trees tops, he glanced around.

Grendon saw that Jessica was sad. Get got up and walked over to her. He was quite proud of Faux for catching the bird that was flying away. Though Jessica seemed terrified and sad. *She must be dwelling in the fact that she has lost her parents.* it was not anything that he had not experienced, though catching prey never got to him. He lightly patted her on the back, and gently took the bird from her. ''i don't know if he can make it.''' he didn't want to hurt Jessica's feelings but he hated to lie. ''if we can get him to calm down a bit , we may be able to out a brace on his wing.'' the bird struggled, Gremdon cupped the bird in his hands. ''It'al be alright.'' he coiled around Jessica as an almost guard. He whispered softly ''your safe.'' He felt awfully bad for Jessi and wanted to comfort her. He looked up at Faux and gave him an impressed nod and smile, he thought Faux did a excellent job on catching the bird. Gremdon tried to remember his childhood and he wondered *was i this serious, Remond sure wasn't.* He thought for a moment, ''Jessica do you want to climb on my back and i could take you to fly?'' His wing reached out to Faux and he patted him with it. He felt awful for both, no parents. He had always had parents.

Andrew said ''thank you'' he seated himself by the fire '' its particularly when a group of people go to investigate something and if it has to do with dragon they usually go in a large group, for the sake if someone gets hurt and they can pass the message quickly so it gets back to the city fast, I'm not an expert at how it works though.''

It's terribly amusing watching you two bicker like dragonets with fancy talking, but it's about time we get the day over with. She shook herself, a few crimson feathers falling from her wings. Haiti, can you escort Killok out? I want to make sure he's gone. Also, Zen, you might as well leave too. You've gotten your revenge on the humans I'm guessing, so it's time to leave.

"I'll leave when this one leaves this territory. Permanently. " he growled, his tail lashing as he ignored the last insult that was thrown at him. He mentally cursed himself for bickering like a foolish hatchling, angry that he had allowed Killok to pull him into the verbal banter.

Faux's large ears twitched, sniffing at how he had lost his catch. He had wanted to repay Zen for the deer, or at the very least show his skills and that he was not just a bug-eater anymore. To top it off, the other dragonette didn't seem like she wanted to play. At Novissime's nod, the green dragon bounded over on all fours, his wings starting to wave frantically at a failed attempt to get him off of the ground. "Tell Sen?" Faux muttered hopefully, wanting the news of his hunt to be told to the loner. He swivelled his head back to look at Gremdon at the nod of praise his chin raised ever so slightly, though mostly he was still confused about Jessica's reaction. When the older dragon pet him on the head with a wing, Faux playfully ducked to try to avoid it and flapped his own wings in response.

He observed, trying to figure out the name's origin as he stood rather stiffly. His dark eyes followed the amulet in her hands, finding that the strange carvings on it appeared to be a night sky. At the question, the head spy blinked and considered an answer. "Work. A friend gave it to me." The man explained, recalling how exactly the item had come into his hands.

Kokyu snorted in amusement at Killok's tale, swallowing his comment about having heard better stories from humans. His golden glance moved to Remond for a moment as he had spoken, wanting to have a chance to talk to him. The other dragons did seem to be quite reasonable though they had never actually conversed. His attention drew to Kibou when she piped up, giving a few orders. His ears flicked with caution. "Is one dragon enough?" He hissed quietly, tilting his head. Kokyu didn't doubt Haiti's abilities, but Killok didn't really seem like one to just get up and leave.
