Dragon City! (Accepting)

(Yeah I know, I just refer to female dragons as queens but I can call them something else if you want. XD)

Wren's body jerked as the female dragon lifted him into the sky once more and could smell the prospect of food. He squirmed in her grasp as he tried to find the scent and was gently placed on the ground. He looked up immediately at the dangling meat and jumped up hungrily snapping at the food and gulping it down ravenously. He looked up at her once more pleadingly hoping to find more food offered to him.

Snow Fall

She saw he was hungry and dropped two baby elks and let him eat away. She smiled.

He dug in as she gave him free range to eat the elks before him. He ate till his tummy was contentedly distended and let out a small burp as sulfuric smoke released from his mouth. He looked up at her happily and bounded around as his new legs became of some use to him. He pretended to hunt himself as he pounced on the caresses of the dead elk and batted at the playfully while his claws tore into the flesh with ease.

She smiled and rubbed on the baby dragon. "I'll call you?" She hesitated.

He looked up suddenly at her. Every dragon was born knowing their true name and he stared at her with deep red eyes "Wrendarius" he squeaked. He didn't know any other word to say rather then his name but it seemed even long to him. Whether it be by magic or just knowing ones soul, all dragons knew who they were the moment they were born and he jumped up happily saying his name over and over.

she smiled then rubbed on the dragon again, "Wrendarius. Hmm I'm Snow Fall Or you can call me Crysthmic. It's my secret name."
She gave Wrendarius more elk then wrapped her wing around Wrendarius.

Wrendarius looked up at her happily but tried to scramble away when she tucked her wing around him. He wasn't tired and tried to escape but eventually gave up. He looked at her enormous wing that held him then lightly spreed out his small black wings to get a good look at how small they were comparatively to hers. He wanted to be able to fly and felt his spirit quiver and knew he was born to soar above the heavens, just not yet. He would need to get stronger but for now he contented himself with being curled up next to Crysthmic. He was happy to be next to his adopted mother and took in her comforting scent and his eyes slowly fluttered shut as his meal began to make him sleepy.

(You can just call him Wren for short. ^_^)

She lay down and curled her tail around Wren but not touching him she smiled shutting her eyes as it began to get dark. Breeze brushed on her scales as she dreamed about the young dragon growing up and becoming her size. Rules of dragons were very strange. She began to think about rules that had to do with baby dragons. You can mate with part of your family even your baby dragon. She thought about that one and shook her head in her dream about how silly that was. She kept thinking about it as she switched her mind to having a adopting father for Wren.

Wren fidgeted about till he finally woke in the dead of night. He looked about and saw that Crys was still asleep, he gently walked over her tail and wings as he made his way over to the edge of the old stone marble that littered the ground in a circle. He guessed this used to be apart of the ancient dragon city but soon let the thought go when he saw movement in his peripheral vision. A small rabbit had dared to venture too far from it's warren and was only one forth the size of him. He crouched down low and began to stalk the creature as his tummy growled to be fed once more. The wind began to pick up and he used it to his advantage and flapped his wings to give his run more speed. The rabbit took off but was quickly overcome by his assault as he tore into it and began to feast. He was proud of his first kill and happily licked his muzzle once he was done. It didn't do much to fill him but pride at his accomplishment overruled that factor.

Crys was happily asleep when all the sudden Carnage Tooth burst out a roar and so did her mother Lightning Strike. She lifted her head and saw them up and all the other dragons were up as well. She looked behind her and dragons were coming from the other mountain. Bunches of them towering into the city stealing things and fighting. Crys swished up into the air and faced the lead of the dragon herd clashing into him and clawing scales off his chest slashing his eye.
