Your nose picks up the sweet yet wonderful sent of lavender. Despite to grasp even more of the sent you let you nose lead the way to the lavender sent. After a short yet wonderful walk the end of the forest opens into a large lavender field. Your eyes light up by your finding as you rush into the field of lavender. The nice lavender sent filled your fur as you rolled in a lavender bush. Have you ever smelt this nice? You chuckle as you stand up on all four. This is heaven of earth for you! Thank you Starclan! You joyfully shout. But that may or may not have been a mistake. You literally woke up everyone with that shout, hope no one is going to look for you. Taking a step back you realise that someone did come to you call. "hello" the voice purred. Turning around you see a large cat standing infront of you. With shock you open your mouth however no words fall out. " I see that you are on our territory." the cat began as it came closer to you. With a yelp you let out with a squeaky voice "I..i'm sorry! Please don't kill me!" With a chuckle the cat looked at you with happiness in it's eyes. "don't worry I won't kill you" With a swift of it's tail you got up on all fours. The large cat wanted you to follow it. Where? You don't know, but you don't care. After a short walk you begin to see even more cats that smell like sweet lavender. The large cat looked at you softly than it began to speak. "welcome to Lavenderclan. When I saw you I saw a glimmer of warrior blood and great power!" the large cat mewed looking down at you. With a point of it's tail it showed you a large bush of lavender. Far bigger than anything you have seen. "that is where the leader sleeps." It mewed. "And to the left of that is the warriors den" He pointed to a slightly smaller bush of lavender. " You see that over there!" it mewed pointing to a hollow log. that is where the kits sleep with the queens. " Next to it you see the large hole in the ground. That is where the medicine cat lives. "To the right side of the leaders den you may see a small think bush. "that is where the apprentices sleep. "and next to that is the elders den." It gave you a soft smile. "and this entire lavender field is our territory" It softly mewed. "now go on. Find your way to become a part on the clan!"

"catmint cures greencough...feverfew cools down fevers and stops chills...yarrow makes a cat vomit, can expel poison and can be used on wounds." morningpaw was up, early as usual, counting the herbs currently in stock. she always made sure to go over them every day in case littleleap or smokefur quiz her. the tabby flicked her tail and scowled once she realized they had no cobwebs. she would have to tell one of her mentors soon. morningpaw stood and exited the den, exhaling the sweet scent of lavender. putting a smile on her face, she trotted to the apprentices' den. sootpaw was the only cat inside, the black tom never seemed to mind the loneliness though. every so often, she'd sleep in the den for his company. morningpaw lightly poked her brother, swishing her tail. "sootpaw? wake up, grumpy." she mewed, poking him again.

"poke me one more time and you will be staying in the medicine den for a reason." sootpaw growled, curling up tighter in the large space of his nest. he was tired, he didn't want to get up at all. being the only warrior apprentice meant doing all the chores. sure, he knew it was for the good of the clan, but they got boring and very nagging after a while. sootpaw wouldn't say this out loud however. morningpaw hesitated then poked him again, a little harder. hissing, sootpaw raised his head and glared at her, standing up. "alright, i'm up, stop touching me." the tall black tom shook his fur out, casting his giggling sister a sour glance and left the den. it was early morning, he wasn't sure if the dawn patrol has left yet. he flicked his ear. "andddd you woke me up, why?" he grumbled, blinking his tired eyes. morningpaw shrugged, and gently rubbed against him with a smile. "you're funny when you're grumpy. besides, moorshadow doesn't like being late i'd guess?" sootpaw shrugged and watched as the medicine apprentice trotted back into the medicine den. his gaze scanned the camp, looking for his mentor though he didn't really care.

spiritkit stretched loudly, her mouth opening a little, before turning to stare at pebbledust. Spiritkit shook her silver fur before sneaking at, her tail fluffed up and she snuck into the Warriors den. She spotted Robin pelt and then proceeded to jump onto him, her small claws pricking his side.

Smokefur groggly raised his large head before slowly getting up, and then proceeded to comb out hid clumped fur. Once his grey fur was neat enough, he padded out of the den. He raised head as his apprentice, morningpaw headed towards him. He raised his tail in greeting before asking bluntly "are we low on anything?"

Her sky blue eyes shimmered in the morning sun as the sun began to rise from the tree tops. "Rise like the sun the say" Moorshadow muttered as she began to clean her fur. She did not wake up on the right side of bed today. She was like a wilted flower. Broken yet will regain itself shortly. Getting up on all four the deputy began to walk to where she knew her apprentice would be. With his sister. "He better be ready for a run" she hissed as her tail saw swaying side to side with Irritation. "Sootpaw!" she hissed sticking her head in the lavender bush. " Get up! Our clan need food" she snapped with a bitter Tongue. Not waiting for an answer she just began to walk away.

Pebbledust woke up to the wonderful lavender sent. Turning around without opening her eyes she softly purred "Good morning Spiritkit" Without getting an answer the young queen opened her eyes to the shock of seeing no kitten. Faster than lightning she ran out of the bush. "Spiritkit" she shouted hoping for an answer. After a while she spotted the young kit. Without saying anything the spotted silver queen picked up the kit.

The rusty colored tom over heared what the two cat's where saying. He knew the answer to that so he quickly spoke " w..w.w we a.are missing s..s.s spiderweb" he mewed as he sat next to them. Rustedpaw gave a warm smile to Morningpaw. She was a nice cat. And Rustedpaw enjoyed having her as a friend.

his sweet dreams were interrupted when a force jumped onto him and small claws dug into his fur. robinpelt opened his eyes drowsily, blinking before letting out a tired purr as he realized it was spiritkit. "mornin' spiritkit," he yawned, flicking his tail and smiling at her. robinpelt gently picked her up by the scruff and dropped her in front him. "a little early to be playing warriors, huh?" he asked. spiritkit was a lively kit. his yellow-green eyes snapped up when pebblestep walked into the den. he smiled politely. "hello pebblestep. sleep well?" the tom asked, gently grooming himself. robinpelt would probably have to go hunting soon anyway, he might as well get ready.

morningpaw dipped her head respectfully to her mentor, and was about to reply when rustedpaw spoke up. she beamed at him. "hi, rustedpaw! have good dreams?" she asked him kindly. the rust colored tom was very nice and sweet, and very helpful. morningpaw always reckoned they'd make a great team when they became full medicine cats. her amber eyes shot to smokefur again. "but, yeah we don't have cobwebs. and i think we're running low on poppy seeds?" she tipped her head to herself. "either way, i think we should get them soon. warriors always like to get into trouble." morningpaw said.

and here she comes. sootpaw kept his face neutral as the deputy practically shouted at him to hurry along, saying something about hunting. the black tom stood and followed her, gaze solemn, though inside he was deeply annoyed. she could've said it from a distance. moorshadow had definitely woke up on the wrong side of the den. he'd better be a bit more behaved today. sootpaw looked at his mentor, flicking his ear with a light glare. "okay, fine. where should i hunt? or is this an assessment?" the apprentice said, scowling. he was almost ready to be a warrior in about two moons or so, he knows. moorshadow doesn't say it often, but sootpaw would make a good warrior. that's what morningpaw says anyway. as he waited for moorshadow's response, the black tom kept his ears pricked for any signs of prey.

Her head turned around Sootpaw. Her eyes locked with his. "That's an assignment. I want to see how many prey you can get before the sun is at it's highest" she snapped as she sat down next to a large lavender bush. Even though Sootpaw was an amazing warrior Moorshadow could not get those words out of her. Moorshadow's eyes were still locked into his. "now start hunting, this clan need food" she mewed slightly softer than before.

Pebbledust did not know what to say to the tom. She was not much of a talker to the other cats in the clan. All she did was run back to the nursery.

He gave a nod to Morningpaw to show that he agreed with her. "t.tt.t than we b..b.b better get a move on!" he mewed with joyfulness in his voice. It is not often he gets to go out of the camp. "o.oo.o.oh a..and Spokefur h..h..ha. have you seen littleleap?"

robinpelt's cheery smile faltered when pebblestep left without a word and back into the nursery. the red tom couldn't really be upset either; pebblestep was a shy cat. he can respect that. making sure he was fully groomed, robinpelt stood in the den and trotted out. it was dawn-ish, moorshadow would probably assign a border patrol and whatnot later. he flicked his tail as he looked around for something to do.

she brightened at rustedpaw's agreement and looked towards smokefur hopefully. "smokefur? can we go out and hunt for herbs? we'll be super safe and stuff!" morningpaw chirped. very rarely did the medicine cat apprentices go out on their own to hunt for herbs, they usually had somebody to escort them. or their mentors themselves. morningpaw could see why the ginger tom next to her was so excited.

sootpaw narrowed his eyes at her, swishing his tail. it was an (hopefully) easy task, sootpaw was a good enough hunter. however, he didn't really think that his mentor cared all too much. "understood." he snapped back. he seemed a bit surprised when she spoke a little softly to him, but the black tom just huffed a little and started his assignment. it was dawn, not too many animals about at this time. granted, sootpaw did have until sunhigh to catch his prey. he crouched low and silent as he traveled through lavenderclan territory, checking the air and keeping eye out for prey. sootpaw's ear flicked when a rustle came on his right and he paused and crept forwards. it was a type of songbird he didn't care to know of, lightly pecking at the ground. the black tom, unsheathed his claws, bunching his muscles as he stared at it. the bird was oblivious to his presence, which was good. deciding it was time, sootpaw pounced, claws outstretched. the bird gave a small cry, unfolding its wings but wasnt fast enough and fell at his feet, fallen. giving quick thanks, sootpaw burried it and continued on.
