Whitewing was startled by the other she-cat's attentiveness when it came to the white cat's emotions. Either that, or Whitewing was just obvious. She closed her eyes, and breathed in, deeply, before letting it all out. The warm air seemed cool in her lungs, calming her, though not completely. "Sorry." She lifted her tail a bit, appearing more cheerful. "I just need a little bit of time, to calm down." She did feel a bit better, after continuing to breathe deeply.
Perhaps it would release some tension if she let out her fear and grief, but that would also lead to exhaustion, something she would need to avoid until she was ready to sleep.
She moved her ears forward, and straightened her posture. "I just suppose I'm not feeling very playful at the moment." Though, it was tempting, to scuffle with the pretty she-cat, but it was a gathering, and Whitewing was afraid that perhaps she would be too aggressive, as she hadn't sparred or play-fought in moons. She didn't want to scare Silentpounce off.

(Sorry for the long pause, I was wondering if anyone else would post. What is the question? :>)

The white feline tensed a bit when the grey-and-white cat rested her head on Whitewing's shoulder, but almost immediately relaxed, before Silentpounce pulled away. "Thank you..." she paused, gathering her words. "Perhaps later we could talk more."Well, of course we would, we're in the same clan. The fluffy she-cat seemed like a good friend, and Whitewing already felt a bit of a connection. From Silentpounce's story, they had a bit in common.
