galestar emerged from her den, stretching. she noted that nightsky seemed to have left camp a little bit ago, which worried her a little. while she trusted her deputy, he was often very secretive, and it gave her a bad feeling some of the time. disregarding this for now, she sat outside of her den, curling her tail over her paws, watching the clan. she shivered a little in the chilly air, but soon she was accustomed to it, though she intended to go out hunting before long, to warm up. maybe i'll have to arrange patrols, since nightsky's not around. she was a bit annoyed that her deputy wasn't at camp to fulfill his duties, but it wasn't a huge task for her to pick up, so she wouldn't really hold it against him, especially if he was doing something important.

The pale brown marbled tabby woke up not too long ago, and stretched before leaving the warrior's den calmly. Noticing that Nightsky wasn't around at the moment for patrols, he padded over to Galestar. He dipped his head respectfully, before beginning. "Do you need any help getting patrols ready?"

galestar noticed tigertooth approaching her, and she nodded gratefully in response to his question. "sure, would you like to go hunting? i'll tag along, if you don't mind, i need to chase off the chill." she thought for a moment, then added, "if you'd like to bring someone else, we can. i have a feeling that nightsky is out checking the border, so he can organize a border patrol when he returns. it's been fairly quiet lately, so i'm not too worried."

The pale brown marbled tabby gave her a small smile. "Everyone else is asleep for the moment, so maybe both of us could go hunting instead of us waiting for someone to wake up." Tigertooth responded, hoping she agrees.

galestar nodded, beginning to pad out of camp, flicking her tail. "sounds good to me. then there'll be fresh prey when everyone wakes up!" she walked beside him as they left camp, shivering again as they got out of the enclosed camp, as they were now more exposed to the wind, and her coat had not begun to thicken for the coming leaf-bare.

"you know what would warm us up?" she suddenly sped up and began to run, goading him to chase her. she felt her muscles begin to warm her fur as she ran towards the place she had decided they would hunt at, which was exactly what she wanted.

The pale brown marbled tabby blinked in surprise as she suddenly took off. "Hey!" He called out, already taking off after her.

She looked to the side, and suddenly her peace was disrupted. Of course. Perfect timing for one of those SkyClan scoundrels. Willow thought to herself, frowning lightly. When he mentioned her stealing herbs, a growl rose to her lips and she hissed. Stealing herbs?! Since when? The river has been free territory for moons!

"I'm not stealing you mousebrain!" she growled lowly. "Your medicine cats come to gather herbs around her all the time. Face it, we won the battle over this river moons ago. It's the border. There's no reason I shouldn't be able to collect herbs here. If you have a problem, speak to our leader." Willow snarled, her tail lashing back and forth. A problem of her's was her defensiveness, but she wasn't thinking about that now.
