Breezekit bared his teeth in another snarl."No need to stare. Does you no good."he spat."That cat you trust killed a kit before she opened her eyes. He tried to kill me! You tried to kill Sorrelkit though, so I see why you two get along. Place all the dark hearted cats together."he gave a small sigh as he heard Sorrelkit and turned his gaze away, trying to be kinder as she didn't seem glad to see his temper."I guess im still grieving Rosekit's death..."

Scarletpaw now felt bad for being mean to him. She did not know that a kit died. "I-i'm sorry..." She said, starting to cry.

"No need to be."Breezekit sighed."It wasn't your fault, it was another cat that took her life. You had nothing to do with it."

Sorrelkit watched everything with wide eyes. She lapped at her chest fur, her ears pricked.

Scarletpaw sat down next to Breezekit. "Please, tell me what happened. I'm pretty sure I'll understand. Who was this Rosekit?" Scarletpaw, scratching her left ear.

[Esther~]

Breezekit didn't know much about his sister, but he did have some knowledge."Not long after my siblings and I were born, Ashstar killed Rosekit. All because he didn't get to be with Darkheart."

Scarletpaw did not believe what she was hearing. Her father? Kill a kit? "B-but... That can't be true! He's our leader! Why would he do such a thing?" Scarletpaw cried.

Breezekit shrugged."I can't make excuses for him. He may be leader, but he makes his choices. That night he chose to kill a kit because he was jealous. Thats why I hate him."he didn't explain how the leader had tried to kill him in hopes of lessening the pain the she-cat felt.
