"Yes I know but...But this pain keeps getting worse and more frequent. Isn't there any way you could help?" Cloudgaze was a bit hesitant to seek out the help of the medicine cat. Although she didn't like to be such a bother, she was a rather anxious she-cat who had already pestered both Sunblaze and Tigerbush a lot within the short period she had been in the clan for mostly trivial reasons brought on by worry about her unborn kits. These trips would likely only get more frequent after the kits were born after every little cough or sneeze they had or minor bump they received. "Oh, congratula-" Her sentence was cut off with a wince caused by yet another sharp pain rippling through her stomach.

"What were you talking to?" Bumblepaw asked as he watched the mossball come closer again. He didn't hit it back this time, waiting for an answer first.

- SunBlaze took a deep breath. "CloudGaze, Go back to the nursery and rest. I'll bring you some herbs but I just.." The med cat sighed, her ears drooping, "TigerBush would've known what to do." The she-cat turned and began mixing some herbs and placed them on a dock leaf. SunBlaze turned back to CloudGaze, "This is honey and chervil. It will help."

I also spoke to Cocat and we had an idea that one of CloudGaze's kits could become a med cat. That would mean having ShadeKit become one, Or CloudGaze having another kit? ))

Cloudgaze sniffed at the sweet smelling concoction for a heartbeat before eating it. She was quite pleased to fine that the honey that masked the bitter chervil taste. "Okay. Thank you." She said afterwords before backing out of the den to head for the nursery. She would have stuck around to ask what the other she-cat meant by 'if TigerBush was here', especially after picking up on just how down she sounded, but instead she just passed it off as the medicine cat was out at the moment because she was in too much pain and wanted to do as instructed with the hope that it would fade soon. Once inside she carefully layed in her nest and closed her eyes as she tried to relax.

- SunBlaze took the clean dock leaf and placed it on a pile in her store. Slowly, she turned back to look at Scar. The old tom was a bit feisty, but he had a heart. "Scar, Have you ever lost someone that you cared a lot about?" The orange medicine cat mewed.

Scar didn't answer right away. He was thinking. Eventually he did speak up to say, "Yes. In a way." He had never really allowed himself to form many close connections over his lifetime, mostly due to traveling about so often that he wouldn't stay long enough to really get to know most that he met. "Lost my family when I got old enough to be on my ow but that is part of loner life. What hurt the most was someone who I considered a dear friend's betrayal. It turned out she was only using me to get what she wanted. I miss the cat I thought she was. Never lost anyone through death. I'm sure my mother and at least some of my siblings are gone though." He had long accepted the fact that his family was probably dead and if not he would never know what became of them.

- SunBlaze sighed. "Im sorry for what happened to you Scar," She mewed sympathetically. The amber she-cat grabbed some coltsfoot leaves and began to chew them into a paste, thinking they were daisy leaves. When she was finished she mixed a small bit of honey in with them as the leaves were bitter and tasted like kitty pet food. She handed Scar the paste on a dock leaf. "Do you think TigerBush will visit me in my dreams?" SunBlaze said.

- SunBlaze pushed WhiteStar out of her den. "Its not cool," She hissed, "And I'm not coming to see his grave!" Her teeth were bared and she'd spilt a poultice that she was making - Her honey had fallen over in the back of the store too. SunBlaze was filled with grief and the other cats couldn't seem to comprehend the pain she felt. "Leave me alone WhiteStar!"
