Frostfur licked her paw in the warrior's den. Her paws were colder than the frozen lake. Leaftail jumped in the den. " Hey sis! Guess what! I got a vole!" Leaftail said. Frostfur looked up from her paw. " Wow, very impressive.." She said sarcastically. Leaftail's tail dropped.

RedFeather headed out of the camp to go hunt. His paws had been itching to go outside all day. But he had to watch over the clan and organize patrols, he wish he could clone himself. He was walking and thinking he had walked into the middle of the territory already. His paws were deep in snow, and his thick fur was the only thing keeping him warm. His breath came out as cold, frozen air. He heard a rustling in the little undergrowth that grew in Leaf-Bare, and pounced but felt nothing but air. Hunting would be hard because all the prey is hiding and there is very little brush and trees to hide in. He tried once more and caught a mouse, it was a start. He continued hunting and only came back with a mouse and a small, puny vole. He dropped his prey in the pile and headed to the warriors den and lay in his nest, curled up, and fell asleep.
