Clan History
In the beginning there was a cat that wondered lost trying to find a new home. kicked out of his clan for a crime he didn't do. He stumbled into a forest that was healing from a forest fire. Plants and saplings were already starting to grow so he knew this place was gonna be perfect. He began to build a camp and prepared a clearing where there would be protection. Over a few moons everything was together and the land was almost completely healed. Some cats joined him and helped build the clan up. This cat became the leader named Emberstar. He gained his lives and ruled his lives fully, now many moons later his son sapclaw became leader, Sapstar.

Warrior code
1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from the other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their
warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen
before moonhigh.
10. A gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.
13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.
15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

The calico she-cat yawned and drowsily got out of her nest, heading towards the herb storage. Hmm. We need more goldenrod, feverfew, and coltsfoot. Tigerberry thought as she organized the herbs a bit better.

The white and brown marbled tabby tom quickly woke up, and clumsily got out of his nest, almost tripping over it in the process. After a few moments of smoothing down his fur, Robinpaw left the apprentice's den.

Watching the clan shuffle around in the morning glory, the young warrior bounced to Dapplefeather, who was eating a mouse. "ooh," she commented, licking her lips as she grabbed a squirrel and took a big bite."

"Morning," she replied cheerily as the young warrior finished her squirrel with a big bite then eyed at another squirrel at the fresh-kill pile. She shook her head, deciding against it. She had had enough and she shouldn't take more than what she deserves.

The young warrior shrugged, as she gave herself a quick groom. "Kind of nice, I guess. But I have no idea what Sapstar had in mind. He had been sitting on that high ledge for centuries." She spoke quietly, hoping her leader wouldn't hear her.
