Must be my lucky day. the smokey gray tom thought, dropping to a crouch and lifting his head to search for the prey. There it was, right next to that tree! A thrush, skinny it may be, but food all the same. The tom slowly stalked forward, then quickly leaped up and swiped at the bird, catching a pawful of feathers in his claws. He sharply brought his paw down, snapping the fowl's neck. Raventuft lightly picked up the thrush in his jaws and recovered his previous prey. With both lifeless creatures firmly in his maw he started the short journey back to Camp.

I walked out, spotting Whirlwind and Ravenstar. Whirlwind wanted to talk to Ravenstar, she looked a bit that way. I padded over to listen when Whirlwind got there.

"Ravenstar, I was out looking around when I scented a cat, I don't think it was clan, maybe a loner or rouge... but, I also scented freshkill on the scent line, I think its safe to assume that the cat was stealing our prey. I continued to follow the trail and it ended at a cave... like a badger den or something... and I didn't only scent one cat... the cave was on the edge of our territory, but still in it." only when she stopped she realize mistypool, the medicine cat, was next to her and ravenstar.

"I've often scented them when gathering herbs. They are peaceful creatures, so I didn't mention anything... I seemed to not want to... Strange." I say puzzled at my own behaviour. "Maybe... I'll need to see." I say troubled. I pad back to my den, thinking Starclan had something to do with this.

[I've actually heard maw used instead of mouth ;3 Not to mention in his jaw would sound a bit odd.
