He took her hand gently and led her into the bathroom. He pulled out some ointment and put some on her hands before spreading it out. "It should sting a bit." He told her.

She squinted at the pain and said softly "Thank you"

He picked her up bridal style and carried her to his bed, sitting down, putting her on his lap "Your welcome."

She looked at him and smiled, and decided not to say anything.

He kissed her cheek and rocked her back and forth like if she was his baby. "My sweet little baby..." He cooed.

She smiled again and kissed him back and said "Jug.."

"Hush now child, you are just a baby who loves your father... which is me." He told her as he continued to rock her.

She smiled and said "Right" as he rocked her.

He stood up still rocking her and went to the kitchen "Does baby Betty want some water or milk?" He asked her.
