The Melody just smiles softly looking at him casually running a hand through her ginger hair.

"I assume you two want to be set back home?" the Doctor asks Martha and Mickey.
"Please," Martha nods.

The Melody just silently stands to the side. She would love to meet then all. It's just so awkward. These people all had such a magnificent impact on her husband's life, and she would love to thank them all for that, but that cannot be. It's too strange. They are his past and she is his future.

It's odd for him too.
The TARDIS lands and the couple walk out, hand in hand. "Take care of him," Martha calls to the Melody.

"Always" she smiles softly

The doors close and the Doctor takes off again. He's now avoiding looking at Rose.

The Melody sighs she notices his expression and walks over to him taking his hand looking over at Rose for a moment. He needs to do this.

Rose is looking at the two of them. "Doctor," she finally says.
He glances at her for the briefest of moments.
"You look so sad when you look at me. Like you know something about my future that's horrible. Then," she adds, with a small chuckle, "I suppose it's been a while." She's quiet for a moment. "What happens to me?" she asks quietly.
The Doctor doesn't answer. Can't answer. Won't answer. All he says is, "I'm sorry."

The ginger her holds his hand kissing his cheek going to leave and let them talk.
