Chase had some free time that morning before the new students arrived, what better way to kill an hour than riding? He and Koal where trying out some new jumps that the school had ordered in for the new term. He felt his heart flutter whenever he jumped with Koal, it all felt so natural...

Koal cleared another two meter fence and was making a collected canter to the next, he kept to contact with Chase at all times, neither had to try, it was just natural to them to work as a team. He made his jump, knocking over two rails. "Dang it..." He snorted and ahook his head irratably.

Axel loved the first morning of term. Most of the kids and even the staff where always in good moods and could lax a little with naughty horses. Every year, he was passed from student to student, less they tried to work him, it didnt bother him at all. This really was the easy life~

Lola was nervous. It was her first full term as a staff member and she wanted to make the first day as enjoyable as she could for the students. She went through all the bathrooms again, making sure they were cleaned and had all the right toiletries in the right places. She should have been spending the morning with Belle to help calm her nerves but really she couldn't sneak off to do that just yet.

Lachlan dropped the last bale of hay in the last stall, though the stable hands should probably be doing this job he had nothing to do in the mornings before the term began. Walking down the row of stalls he only saw a few horses, Dovah being one of them. Lachlan leaned on the gate and watched his boy come over to him. "Come on you. This'll be the last time you get peace and quiet without the new mares and stallions. Last time to get you out to the paddocks by yourself." A lead was hanging from the gate. Lachlan clipped it onto the bridle that Dovah always wore, leading him from the stall.

Belle hung her head over the gate, she saw Dovah being led out by his rider, who she had still not learned the name of. Bellezza made no effort to say a good morning to him and a simple shake of her head was enough, though she was sure that he didn't see. A few stalls over Belle heard Axel, not particularly doing anything. "Mornin' Axel."

Dovah heard Lachlan at the gate, he turned around in the large stall. Soon enough the lead was connected to his bridle and Lachlan was walking him out. The morning air was crisp and fresh and cool. Dovah passed Koal and his rider Chase, seeing Koal knock two of the poles he gave a short whinny, "Keep trying Koal!" and nodded his head toward the gelding. Laclan kept walking so Dovah had no time to stop and talk.

"Another day, another term, bet things will be interesting." Axel loved nothing more than causing trouble for new students on the first day, it was like his little hobby to just get in the way.
