Duli rolled her eyes and giggled.

"I dont blame him, it can be addicting."
she laughed.
"It was when I was still with my mother, they smelled good and tasted sweet, so I ate alot..."

She pretended to stumble, and swayed her head.
"Too much is too much!"

~{Levi}~

Levi laughed as he watched Duli sway, then he smelt the scent again.. "Duli must be in heat.." he said in his head, but tried to not let it bother him or make him look like he noticed.

Her attention once again was drawn to the smoke coming from the trees, and she became sullen.

"I wonder if anyone we knew was in there."
Her eyes trailed on a deer springing from the edge of the woods to the safety of a bare meadow.

~{Levi}~

Levi's eyes widened, "Kyrah." he had totally forgotten about his own mother. Thoughts started running through his head,
"What if she got trapped? What if she got seperated from Ecru? What if she's still in the fire? Is she out of the fire? Is she with Ecru? Is she safe?" then the worst of them all came, "What if she's dead?"

~Duli~

She winced and began to cry.
"I'm afraid of growing up."
She raised her head slightly.
"Because the more time that passes, the more bad things happen. And it's hard to remember sometimes, that good things happen too..."

She turned to Levi with tears in her eyes.
"Im not afraid of dying. I'm afraid of living."

~{Levi}~

Levi stepped towards Duli, trying to ignore the heat scent, "It's okay Duli.. Everyone at one point is afraid to grow up," he began, "Like me.. the day I got kicked out of Ecru's herd, I had no idea what I would do.. I had no idea where to go, how do fight. H*ll, I didn't even think I'd make it this far!" he let out a small laugh, "And with living.. good and bad things happen, we can't change that.. that's life. you just have to let go of the bad things and let the good things take over." He smiled at Duli and nuzzled her neck trying to comfort her.

She smiled and nuzzled him.
"You're too sweet. You know that?"

She giggled,
"Like over ripe peaches. Addicting. You could get me in trouble one of these days."

Levi winked at Duli, "Only when I want to be." he laughed. Levi looked back over at the flames and smoke, still thinking about his mother.

Duli saw the worry in Levi's eyes escalate.

She nuzzled him,
"They'll be fine. I know it."
She knew he was worried about his mother, there weren't many left for him to worry about.
And even if he had kicked him out of the herd, she knew he cared about Ecru too.
