ballet is not a thing for the weak of heart. dancers are recruited at young ages, between five and seven,
and they train long hours as they get older, sometimes leaving them with little time to focus on school
work or friends and family. injuries are common, schools and equipment are expensive, and yet people
are still more than happy to do it- either because it's all they've ever known or because they've found
their own genuine passion for it.
regardless, it's safe to say that ballet is pretty hardcore.
