prezaira is located in the united kingdom, in a remote forest where they are rarely bothered
by the issues of people outside their walls. but tensions are high in the royal family. the king
is growing ill, despite his young age, and the queen, though perfectly capable of running the
kingdom, appears to have little interest aside from staying at her ill husband's bedsides. five
children seek to recieve the throne, but none can without marriage backing them before the
factor. fearful of the future, queen has set up arranged marriages for all five of her children.”

♥ this is a realistic roleplay. no powers or unearthly things of any sort. during this time, witch trials were occuring in england, but nothing of the sort may be portrayed, as the kingdom is a seperate entity, and the witch hysteria would not have reached them.

♥ you may only have one character as of now. this may change.

Character Descriptions

♥ The Royals

♚ the king
the king was the sole heir to the throne, being the only child of the previous king and queen. he, like his father before him, has recently grown ill, due to an unknown cancer passed down through their bloodline. he no longer controls any of the kingdom.
♛ the queen
the queen has complete control of the kingdom now with her beloved bedridden, however, she wishes to pass it down to one of her children. she keeps up public appearences, and now controls trade with other kingdoms in the nearby regions.
♞ the princes
♛♠ the prince of spades is the eldest prince, and twin brother to the princess of clubs. they are considered first pick for the throne, however, due to the prince's immaturity, he is frowned upon as a choice.
♛♦ the prince of diamonds is the younger of the princes, and is elder to the youngest princess. this prince, though considerably more mature than his elder brother, is known for getting into trouble, making mistakes, and his distructive jealousy
♝ the princesses
♛♣ the princess of clubs is the eldest princess, and twin sister to the prince of spades. they are considered the first pick for the throne, and thankfully her brother's immaturity puts her up top. she is the most mature of the five children, and often leads them when their mother cannot.
♛♥ the princess of hearts is the youngest princess, and though the least desirable to put on the throne by normal standards, is highly regarded by the public, due to her outgoing nature and kindness towards lower class.
ϡ the joker
the joker is the outcast child. he/she is younger than the eldest twins, but can be any age under 26. they are cunning and decitful, but still have rights to the throne. the roleplayer is able to choose age and gender

♡ The Chosen

the chosen are the people who were chosen to be in an arranged marriage with each of the royal princes and princesses. only heterosexual couplings for the main arranged marriages are allowed, but homosexual 'behind closed doors' relationships are allowed.

every attribute of the chosen may be picked by the roleplayer, however it is likely the queen would have chosen personality attributes that would counteract those of her more reckless children. there must be two female and two male. the 'joker' character must be taken before the fifth chosen is created

Queen Elanor Prezaira had risen that morning with a feeling of bittersweet melancholy. She had worked many hours to find suitable partners for her children, trying to consider their personalities as well as status, and she was to finally meet her possible children in law. At the same time, the reason for a speedy engagement for all five of her children was because her husband was going to die.
That morning, after she had dressed, she visited the King to see how he was doing as she did every morning. He was in high spirits,
and was excited to meet the guests. Despite this, the doctor reminded her that this was unusual and not to get her hopes up.
Despite her annoyance at the doctor for telling her something she knew very well, she smiled understandingly and thanked them.

She took a moment to compose herself after seeing her husband, and walked to where her and her children were meeting for brunch.
She was the first there, which was unusual, but figured it was just her nerves about the day ahead.

xxxxxshep slept in. the one day he was supposed to be up before dawn, so he could finish his usual morning routines early and be to brunch on time, he slept in. completely slept in. the sun was already up and shining when he opened his eyes. he always woke up early. nakita never ever let him sleep in. but no, she got out of his room in the middle of the night, and now he was rushing. by the time he was washed up and dressed, he was already ten minutes late.
xxxxxthe prince was down to the royal hall as fast as he could. he skidded to a halt right at the entrance--well, actually, he ran right into the doors, and came to a stop when he was in side the hall. he was startled by the sight of his mother already there, "Ah--ahh- hello-hi- sorry, uhm, let me start over." shep stammered, stumbling a bit to find his feet and stand up straight before speaking again, "Goodmorning, ma'am. I apologize for being late."

xxxSterling got up before the sun rose, so he could sit by his window and watch the sky turn pink and purple and orange. It was beautiful, and he loved it. He sighed softly when he knew it was time for him to get ready. He took his sweet time bathing, getting dressed, and fixing his hair. Singing quietly to himself, he wandered around the palace for a while, enjoying the silence while it lasted. Finally, he arrived in the royal hall, and he paused in his singing as he spotted his mother and older brother. "Good morning, mother, brother." He greeted the two of them, walking over. It was clear he was excited for the day, as he hummed and spun on his heel.
xxxThe prince stopped in front of his mother, giving her a half smile as he looked around. "Even when we're late, we're the first ones here, I see."
