{ Everyone just attended a camp meeting that recently finished. Now, I think it's around the evening (somewhere around nine or ten). }

{ You could have your character just leaving the meeting, heading to her cabin, attending one of the evening events, whatever else you can think of, or you can follow Dragon'sFirefly's advice. c: }

Carter sighed and walked back to her cabin, the small bag of posessions that she always kept with her clutched to her side. After a moment she started picking up the pace, going faster and faster until she was sprinting to her new "home" for the summer. She finally arrived and walked in silently. The short teen looked around, deciding on a random bed and sitting down on it boredly. She pulled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them, her headphones blaring in her ears.

Lily wandered into her cabin humming along. She saw Carter was already there. "HI!" she shouted, unable to hear her volume with her own earphones in. Then she remembered how many times shed been told to stop yelling whenever she was trying to have a conversation with her earphones in, so she took them out, but she was still slightly deaf, recovering from the blaring music. "HI!" she frowned when she realized Carter's earphones were in, too, so she shouted purposefully this time, which made it louder than before because it was deafness plus purposeful yelling. "HI CARTER!"

((So would they be going to sleep and waking up soon?))

Carter looked up sharply, her hands immidiatly flying up to her ears. What the- She pulled out her headphones and glared up at the girl who had just walked in. "Gee, thanks for killing my eardrums for me, that's definatly what I needed on the first day of band camp." She shot at her, sarcasm practicaly dripping off her voice. But even Carter, who could hold up verbal sparring for hours, couldn't help herself from bursting out laughing. "Sorry, that probably wans't the best thing to say, was it?" She asked lightheartedly. A grin spread across her face from excitement.
