What is a Kalon and how can I get one?

I hope this is an appropriate question to ask! I've been seeing Kalon all over CS and they all look so cool! I've made it my goal to eventually get one, but I don't know much about it at all, and I have absolutely no idea how to get one. Would anyone be willing to help me? Thanks in advance! ^^

Kalons are a very popular adoptable species on Adoptable Oekaki. The species' homepage is here. Like many other species on Adoptable Oekaki, the species' chosen artists make adopts for the species from time to time, and hold competitions to choose each adopt's owner. Beware that since the species is so popular, the competitions can be extremely competitive and difficult to win! In addition to the adopts, I believe there are ways to buy or win MYO ("make-your-own") slots or customs offsite and during events. Please let me know if you have any more questions!
