quick question: what’s paperclipping? i’ve been seeing a lot of users doing it and a lot of users not supporting it and i’m confused.

Hi there,

Paper clipping, or the "paper clip challenge" as it is also called, is the act of trying to trade up a less valuable pet until you achieve some goal. For example, starting with a 2017 uncommon, and trading it up until you get a 2009 rare.

Although possible to do it fairly by using the "3 month rule" common in trading, often times paper clippers end up begging for unfair trades, and thus the challenge has gotten a bad rap.
