Drawing tablet isn't working?

Hello! i got a drawing tablet last year for christmas,when i have everything plugged in nothing works? But when i tap the tablet with my pen the light on it goes green (to indicate that its like connected) but nothing comes up on my laptop screen? my laptop is a chromebook so would that be the problem? Thank you to anyone Who decides to help! <3
(i also tried many different drawing programmes and Oekaki)

You may have to restart your computer or update it. When I restarted my computer the first time after plugging in my tablet I was lokced out of my pc until I updated it

Hey, Drawing tablets can be pretty frustrating to set up sometimes... Do you still need help? Ive worked with tablets for a long time so I might be able to help!

Do you have the driver installed? The one specifically for your drawing tablet?
