Suggestion: Special Birthday Pet (Poll added/changed)

Yeah, good idea! I have it up now.
Do you guys think the birthstone pets should be based off of the dog lines, or have it kind of similar to my first idea, where someone could pick whether they want a rat, cat, dog, horse, etc?

I don't really think it's needed but if they were going to do something like that I think a rock or gemstone (as in the pet is actually a rock or gemstone) in the colour of your birth month (with the option for users who do not have their birthdays recorded to select their birth month) rather than an existing pet lineart would be more special and probably easier to do than multiple lineart options for each month.

I think just releasing a special litter representing birth months would be easier though, maybe it could be a special free store litter so people could adopt one pet of their month of choice at any time of the year rather than have it that they could only get in on their birthday? That way it takes out the complications of trading/rarities/knowing birthdays as well as not punishing kids who may not be allowed online on their birthday.

I like your orignal idea, untradable, but Id like some way to get the other months/options. I want a complete collection xD. I dont know exactly how youd have that without trading though. hmm.

I also like the other suggestion of birthstone themes, since theyve had zodiacs but not burthstones that Im aware of, but tradable, like normal pets

Okay! I want a complete collection too, so I agree that being unable to get the other birthstone would be frustrating. I do think having a birthstone litter would still be cool too, but I also like my original idea for a special birthday pet.
I'm going to change the poll quick to see which idea is the most popular and we can go from there!

I was talking about their birthday pet suggestion, not new stamps. i was just using stamps as an example
