December 18th Questions

Hello! If there is a thread or forum that relates to this topic can someone please link it to me? I couldnt find exactly the questions I'm looking for.

Every year on December 18th I log on exactly at midnight (8pm my timezone) to get my pets. I typically do it because I'm impatient, however the site lags so badly that this year I'm thinking about waiting longer to adopt them to avoid lag. Does December 18th work like the pound? Like all the "good" pets and most rare are given out first?

Such as, would I get better pets at midnight vs. 4pm that day?

Over the years I've gotten a mix, however I was never sure because of the mass amount of people on around midnight.

The pets given out are completely random no matter the time you get on to adopt them. ♥

Nope, it's not a first come first serve kind of thing, since that would be unfair to users who have rollover at say, 3AM. You have just as good of a chance getting a valuable pet any time you adopt. So yeah, if you wait a couple hours you'll avoid lag and have the same chances. May do the same myself.

The chance for some pets may lower slightly, but is never completely eliminated.
