What is each rarity worth??

I just got some guff from this one player (not going to name them) on what I thought was fair to trade up for a rare but apparently I got it completely wrong. Can someone help me?

Just put what each rarity is worth if I am looking to trade up. Thanks!

Sorry to say, rarity math never works. There are thousands of pets on CS, so you can have one pet that's the highest on the "rare" scale and another pet that on the lowest and these two pets have very different trade value because of how far apart they are even though they're both labeled "rare".
There's also demand, what species each pet is and what date it was released all factored in to the individual value of a pet.

Without demand, value, and dates, 1 rare = 4 uncommons
With demand, value, and dates.... Uh, it's a lot more complicated. You'll learn them best from threads like the Is This A Fair Trade? Thread, How Much Is This Pet Worth?, and from normal trading
