Option to turn off trades completely

Much like how, if you try to Trade with Tess you get the notification "This player is not accepting any trade offers".

Which is different then when you attempt to trade someone and they have no groups open. Even if you put "not accepting trades" in your rules there is still the possibility of someone sending a one-sided suggestion.

So for those who really do not want to trade any of their collection/trading at all, should have this option to keep players from sending trades regardless.

-Players cannot turn on this 'function' or 'option' if they have trades waiting in their Trade Center.
-If the Trade Block is on, then they cannot send trades either. To avoid spam trades that cannot be edited.

No support since I find it quite silly to be on a site centered around pet trading and having those trades off (Tess obviously has them off since she'd probably get hundreds of trades a day or more)
Yeah there's rp and oekaki, but those are more like offshoot, and there's plenty of other websites centered around rp or art instead of trading if that's what you want to do

Although this is a handy suggestion, it might not be worth implenting it compared to the other suggestions that don't have alternatives. Like how you can lock your groups, state it in your trade rules etc. Just a thought! ^^

Yes you can lock groups and say it in your trade rules but for some users who completely ignore that, they send suggestions anyways.
It's also used to bypass the messaging system for those who have "friends and moderators" or "moderators" only. As some people send one sided suggestions to get around PM block.

If someone really only wants to have contact with their friends, and wants to not use the trading system, shouldn't they have the ability to block trades? Just like how Tess can.

I think this would be a great option. There will always be someone out there that thinks your trade rules don't apply to them, so surely if they send a trade with pets on their side you'll open your locked groups. I'd love this to be able to turn off trades if I go on vacation too. It would reduce the hassle of locking/unlocking groups so I don't come back to a dozen trades.

there was a time from about 2013-2016 when I hated receiving trades. I didn't know what was fair and what wasn't, so trades just made me uncomfortable and anxious. whenever I'd receive a trade, I'd just leave it to rot because I didn't have the heart to say no nor the motivation to say yes. I would have used this feature had it been available to avoid all of that! it would have been so much easier to just turn trades off than to bite my tongue, turn away, and pretend I had simply never noticed them.

one thing I have noticed is that most people never read my trade rules. now that I'm trading again, I only have two rules: I only trade duplicates and I only want wishlist pets. almost every single person breaks one or both of these rules! even back when I didn't want trades, I put it in huge, bold letters and locked all of my groups, yet I'd still receive trades despite that. simply putting that you do not trade is your rules and locking your groups is not enough to prevent getting trades; there needs to be something else in my opinion to turn it off completely.
