Support! I've never traded from locked groups unintentionally, thankfully, but the worry nags at me all the same.

I'm tempted to take it one step further, too: I would love the option to lock a group against both removing and adding pets. Far too often I'll misplace a pet by accident and then spend a ridiculous amount of time searching group by group until I find it.

(In case it's unclear, I'm imagining it as an option that can be toggled on/off as necessary for each group individually. When on, the group is locked as is. When off, it's unlocked and pets can be added or removed like normal.)

Support! I have done this quite a few times myself, even though I don’t have many large groups of boards and things.
Shouldn’t be hard at all to code in since we already have a few options for groups.
