How to convert a Oekaki drawing into a PSD? [Answered:Lock]

Postby PikaPerfect » Fri Apr 28, 2017 12:15 am

Is there a way to convert an Oekaki image into a PSD file? I've seen people do it before but I don't know how and that would be really helpful ;u;

I don't think you can upload or download the pictures due to the program style. (Probabl to avoid copyright issues) I know you can save the image as an editable/customization with layers which will function the same way here on cs as it would on Photoshop.

Mainly the above but:

The only way you can do it, if it's your own drawing, is take the lineart, save as a png/transparent image and do it that way. You'd have to color, shade and do all the rest of it on the art program though. You can't carry all the layers over/offline. So where you would repost the image using PNG in the code instead of AUTO, that's where you could save the transparent line art onto your desk top. You can only ever save the one layer though. No matter what that layer is.

Remember to do this with only your own art though. Or ask for permission if it's not yours.

Although this would be a lot of work, and you would need to leave a description of what you're doing in your first post beneath the Oekaki page in case a mod comes along a lock it for being weird.

You'd have to hide all the layers except one, save it, copy the transparent image, and paste it into photoshop. Then repeat with the next image.

At the end make sure to make all correct layers visible so your drawing doesn't look really weird and spamy.

I don't know why I didn't think of doing that in the first place ^^"
