So this dog was originally released in november of 2008 but mine says that it was released on March 1st of 2009 so I was wondering if there was an advent calendar type of thing going on then and thats where he came from?

Hes an extended release pet :) viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1812615 read more about them in this guide!

Sorry if this is a bad question :C

That means the user you sent it to hasn't opened their inbox yet. Once they have (and this doesn't guarantee they've read it, only opened their inbox) it will move to your sent messages.
