i think ever since i updated my java, my pen pressure doesnt work anymore and im not sure what to do :< has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

A lot of people have experienced this, yes. Issues with tablets and the Oekaki have been noted several times, most recently four days ago on this thread.
There's currently no solution except to experiment on your own. There are just too many factors to account for and test separately. ^^;

reason on a windows laptop chickenpaint does not have pen pressure. normally when i am home i use a windows desktop and edge to draw on chickenpaint, and pen pressure works perfectly fine. however even after resrtarting there is no pen pressure. i have also tried internet explorer and chrome with the same results. is there any way i can get pen pressure?

Just a general comment, but I've found that the pencil tool has opacity pressure, whereas the pen has size pressure.. if that makes sense? For example, if I draw lightly with the pencil, it stays the same size but get more transparent... whereas with the pen, the lighter I draw the smaller the line. I never used pen much with my mouse, but now its my main tool.

Also.. sometimes chickenpaint doesn't allow me to move, modify or edit the layers tab? I can tap and click and nothing will happen, but if I use my mouse it does. Also, sometimes it won't let me use the bars that lets me see different parts of the canvas? It's so frustrating because it only happens sometimes.

If the bubble next to the different opacity/size/scattering/etc. bars is black, it is affected by pen pressure, if it's white, it's unaffected by pen pressure! Pen naturally has opacity pressure disabled, and size pressure enabled, while pencil has the opposite (:

has anyone had success with pen pressure on a wacom intuos and google chrome?? i got a brand new one a few days ago and it doesnt seem to be working with oekaki right now. do i need to change something/update stuff???

sorry//i know people were asking about pen pressure before. but intuos is a relatively popular tablet so i was wondering if someone had a specific fix, from experience.

To any and all pen pressure questions:

Pen pressure relies on so many factors, that there in currently no end-all, be-all solution. Not only does it rely on which browser you use, as support varies between all of them, but the version of said browser, any add-ons that may affect JavaScript behavior, the brand and driver for your tablet, and your machine. What works for one might not work for another, let alone everyone.
Since there are a multitude of factors that we cannot individually test, we unfortunately cannot help much with pen pressure problems.

You can try wacom's website to check your tablet driver, or make sure your browser is up to date, but that's all I currently know to suggest. ^^;;

Other than that, I can offer nothing. No suggestions, no solutions, not magic quick-fixes. This has been posted on here many times already. Please check at least the previous page before asking questions, because your situation or question may have a solution or a confirmed lack of solution.

Quick note: I've recently had success with Opera and ChibiPaint comprehending pen pressure. I did nothing for it to work (I usually fiddle around in Firefox or Chrome or fight with IE for potential solutions here), it happened with a browser update.

I can guarantee nothing, but if you're still experimenting for pen pressure, it might be worth a shot.

Whenever I go to my oekaki drawings most of my saved drawings are replaced with small blue question marks. When I try to view the picture on another page in my browser the page on CS "oh noes, lost it" comes up... Does this mean my drawings are gone or will they come back..? ^^' I've checked both on my phone and my computer

maybe someone has asked this but whenever i go to color something in, everything is shown on one layer only?
I've looked on some other posts but i haven't seen a solution besides them just waiting a while and it got fixed
