Nice guide. :3

I want to start my own character adoption agency, but I can't think of a cool name. Any ideas or tips?

Something creative and easy to remember is usually best. c: Username-based adoption agency titles usually aren't visited much, so I advise something broad and simple. So perhaps something like "Silver Horizons", or something that inspires hope or recalls some sort of real-life animal adoption.

Maybe you could add an post with a list of successful threads? I could name a few. You could also say if they are still 'active' like the cyber bunnies or 'retired' the the Charloo Bowl.
I've been on hiatus for a year or two, mostly inactive now.
Do not ask for my pets/characters. Thanks.

I've been thinking about that, but I'd have to talk with the owners of those threads first, and I haven't had the time. ^^;

I've got the girl that makes me wanna live
And she's got the hear that makes me wanna give more
Now I've got amore amore amore, I've got amore amore amore
She gives me amore amore amore, I've got amore amore amore
We've got the whole world together
We've got our whole lives to spend together
We've got all our time to press our lips together
We've got our whole world forever
Drawing pictures in the sky
Swearing we could fly
Knowing others would die
Just to be you and I

I was just thinking of making an adoptable, so I have been searching for a line-art for like 2 hours, and then I decided that I should go look at some other successful ones and see what works for layout ect. Instead of having to do that I read this.

It is a great help, and I hope it will make my adoption agency great:)
I just need to find a lineart first.

This is a wonderful guide; there are some really great tips in there for those who are just beginning or those who are old hands at this business. ^^ I'd like to suggest a section on how to handle business in your adoption center once you have it up and running. All too often, I find threads that are spammed by useless, off topic chatter that really gives the whole place an unprofessional feel. If there has been one thing I have learned while running the GAC, its to keep it professional. Spam is a great way to drive off potential customers, as it will clutter up your business fast. All interactions with your customers should be polite, but there's no need to send them links to your favorite YouTube video or pictures of your new puppy.
