Story: Kerona sat by the pond, gazing at her reflection with a soft smile. She stood up and looked around, her eyes focusing up at the sky. Kerona lowered to the ground, narrowing her eyes and spreading out her wings. In an instant she was airborne, feeling cold wind weave through her fur, and adrenaline course through her veins. She opened her mouth and let out an abundance of happy chatters. She didn't care if anyone looked at her, she felt free and she was. She landed, slowing her speed with a small trot. She sat and licked her paw, calm serenity flowing in her mind. Upon hearing a twig snap, Kerona perked up. She fixated her eyes on the bush she heard it from, mentally terrified but physically prepared to fight. The bush shook again, causing Kerona to let out a small yipe, flexing her paws. Thinking about fighting she realized that it wasn't fear of fighting, she didn't want fight. Kerona silently watched the bush, backing out of her defensive position and waiting. The bush gave way, revealing a small creature, a rabbit maybe. Kerona put her ears back, feeling embarrassed as she took off and flew. She told herself off while flying, angry at her own assumptions. Kerona then thought about how ridiculous the whole situation was and let out a laugh. She realized how odd it must be to see a kalon laughing in the sky, and laughed some more. The end
