Prompt - What is this cats favorite thing to do during the holidays? This cat's favourite thing to do during the holidays is see her father. When Bean was little, her and her father were best of friends, inseparable. But when her mom died, and her dad needed to be moved into a nursing home, it became harder for her to see him during the year. Especially considering she has a family and a full time job now.
Non the less, once they see each other their faces light up with unexplainable joy. Her father is remarkable with the children as well, giving them rides on his wheelchair and doing spins. The children's favourite present is seeing their grandfather.
But, like all things, they must end. Once they head to the door to leave, knowing it'll be the last time she will ever see her father, Bean and her father's face began to crumble and she saw the same sadness in his eyes she did the day her mother died.
Bean's husband quickly took the children outside to the car and got packed up, while Bean sat with her father for the last time. Nothing was said. Nothing needed to be said. This was it.

A few years later, Bean sat on the couch with the children near the Christmas tree, her husband's arm around her, looking at her father's ashes on the shelf in front of her, she couldn't help but smile, and imagine herself beside his wheel chair once again, saying nothing at all, but everything at the same time.
