Nimbus

We'll miss you forever, I love you more
than you'd ever imagine. Mostly because,
well, you're a cat. But even a cat deserves
better than what happened to you.
I don't care what they say about you,
you were cuddly, kind, and always happy.
I'll miss you, Nim.

- Our kitten, Nimbus, passed away on December 29, 2016. A dog that was at our house attacked her out of nowhere. We think my boxer tried to stop the dog but ended up getting attacked as well. By the time we got home Nimbus was gone, it looked like a scene out of a horror movie. Phoebe, the killer, was covered in blood sitting on the sofa. What happened next is far too violent to say on this site, so I'm sorry but I'll have to leave that part out.We buried Nim in the backyard in the flowerbed. I'll never forget what the patch of dirt without flowers on it means. We just released balloons for her, too. Nimbus was less than a year old, nothing deserves to go out like that regardless of its age, but 7 months old... Anyways, I'll always remember her.

This is so sad I'm so sorry for you. I know how much it's hurt to lose a cat, or any pet.

I...I know how you feel.. my cat Asalayn (I forgot how to spell it..he was named after the lion off of Narnia) was attacked by two black Labradors and he ran up a tree and me (and my mom) scared them off and got him down but he later died of shock..

I know his death was nothing like Nimbus's but I feel extremely sorry for your loss... she shouldn't have gone at such a young age.... the one reason that I don't like stray dogs around my cats..
