A moment caught in endless time

My tears that fall and break like glass
My cries of endless pain
All the sorrow in my heart
Caused by this, your stupid game
My heart that slowly starts beat
My breath thats fast and shallow
The darkness that, from head to feet
Makes me feel so hollow
My pain that spreads like wild fire
My burning world of hurt
And my only hearts desire
To finally find some comfort
My mind that's fogged by pitch black mist
My eyes that reveal all my despair
The pain that's caused by your fist
By your hand that pulls my hair
My hope that seems so far away
So far out of reach
The sorrow spreads with each new day
The lesson that they teach
My soul is cold and dark with hate
My life is much the same
I lost the key, can't find the gate
And still you play your game
My spirit remembers how to fight
My mind knows how to live
I can now fight you with all my might
With all the strength that I can give
My mind that now has learned to live
My heart that now has learned
To love and cherish and forgive
And take only what it has earned
My life that now is finally mine

I just write what I see, think or feel. If you do that then it always turns out alright and even if you don't like your own story or poem there is at least one other person out there who'll think it's amazing. At least, that's how I see things, it makes it easier.

Hmm... I think I spend waaaay too much time editing, so I find a lot of flaws in my writing...

Me to! But I try not to edit to much because if you're always editing then the people who thought it was good in the first place might change their minds.
