.: Personality :.
Joan shy and quiet, but on the other hand, he can be eccentric and energetic. In both cases, Joan is a very deep thinker who love helping others. He is able to see without prejudice, on both sides, which makes him a person who can easily solve problems around him.
Although he can easily adapt to the energy that surrounds him, Joan usually has a deep need to have time alone and away from everything, in order to restore energy for travel.
The biggest problem for Joan is the feeling of limitations. He has a desire for freedom and equality for all, and will always strive to ensure freedom of speech and movement.

.: Where he lives :.
"Lombard is a small village west of Chicago. We are surrounded affluent communities that have more wealth. The village is a little more diverse, but still fairly lily white. Schools are good, but not great. Strong mix of professionals like physics professionals and plumbers. Down the block is an electrician and a IRS agent.
Lombard is nice, but village leaders really have no clue on how to make Lombard a tiny bit more dynamic. Why do I live here? Well, I've always lived by myself on the streets, travelling a whole lot with stolen money, staying in churches and such to keep warm, y'know? I finally decided to settle down. So I chose Lombard. A small village, was a nice place at first buuut not really the best.
Shopping is unreal. Everywhere you turn major shopping centers and world class malls. For me it is not important, but my wife loves it. Plus, a ton of great restaurants at all price levels.
Work is abundantly available for people with educations. Huge corporate corridor running east and west along the highways. Plus, real easy into the city with train and car.
Sure, Chicago has its fair share of problems, but that is concentrated in a couple neighborhoods. Working class jobs left in the 80's and have left a whole chunks of the city left behind. People complain about schools, but without a strong tax base, not much can change without money. Our state has been run by a bunch of idiots and hurt Illinois and Chicago for a generation. Again, nice place. Culturally, many real stars come from here, major inventors, actors, writers, painters and it's still that way."
