Ah! It's so cute!! <3 I really want to keep them but alas
I can't. This did take me a while I had to re-draw ideas for my staff adopt about 15
times already but this one came out perfect.

Short Story
Swoosh! Into the water they went. Tail fins moved at incredible speeds as the group raced through the water. They only raced once a a month, but Zen was always there. And she held the record for most consecutive winning months. Seven. The group members often varied. Sometimes it was just seals and such, and sometimes it was foreigners who kinda looked like Zen. But never exactly like her. Some looked like canines, felines, or even squids and aliens. But for the last seven months, Zen had won every single race. She turned her gaze just slightly, hoping to catch a glimpse of the nearest competitor. Instead, she saw a flashing gleam at the sea floor. She hesitated before racing down to the bottom, hoping to snatch it. She didn't even think about the race. She picked it up, turning it over a few times in her claws. It was a small ring. She glanced upwards, only to see three of her competitors race by. She gasped and quickly stuck it in her pocket as she raced upwards.

By then, it was too late. The winner had been announced and she had ended up in the dreaded third place. She huffed, sulking as she slunk back into the water. Once underwater, she grabbed a sea salt caramel out from her pocket and munched with a frown. She hated loosing.
