backstory wrote:Taffi's parents were an interesting couple. Her mom was a candy addict, gorging herself on sugar and candy at every possible moment, and her father was a hardcore believer in drinking multiple cans of soda every single day. When Taffi's mom was warned that her unhealthy addiction could possibly harm her future child, she frantically tried to be healthy and stop eating sugar. She ate salads and vegetables and soups and fruit, and tried to avoid sugars as best she could. But the damage had already been done. Taffi was born very, very sick, and very, very unhealthy. The first couple years of her life, Taffi was put on medications to give her vitamins, but her body rejected most of them, and the doctors were at loss for what to do. It wasn't until a 4 year-old Taffi stole a lollipop off of the table that they knew the problem: Taffi's body needed sugar. Bewildered about this strange young deer, they agreed to let her eat candy. As she ate more and more sugar, Taffi's health skyrocketed, and she was bouncing around the house like a normal young deer. Though they didn't like it, the doctors agreed that Taffi needed sugar- her body was used to it and addicted. So Taffi went on with her sort-of normal life- but it wasn't really normal at all. Her appearance was getting brighter, she practically glowed pink and purple. Her parents were alarmed at first but finally settled on the fact that their daughter was anything but normal.

growing up she was always very strict, clean, and proper - she was always made fun of for being a nerd or a stickler for the rules, a tattle tale - a goody two shoes. She kept a healthy diet and stayed clear from everything a normal kid/teenager would enjoy. She enjoyed math, business, but her people skills were lacking. An old friend of her got her to start drinking those sugary coffee drinks to keep her perked up and that's what started her addiction. She became carefree, did what she always wanted to do but was too scared too. She ditched her professional ponytail and dyed her locks, got rid of her classes for contacts, basically went a little crazy as her friends and family described. This complete change of character was unexpected, but not unwelcomed - everyone is simply grateful she's truly happy now.
At the beginning of her new found freedom, Trixie's parents were very upset. She was always hard working, and was quickly gaining the corporate ladder when she suddenly quit her job and went on a year long vacation in Hawaii. They tried and tried to contact her, but she would always just ignore the call. After a few months in she got rid of her phone just so they couldn't keep calling! She came to her senses after a year, and finally found herself back home. Her friends and family almost didn't recolonize her, she was a completely different deer! However after hours of explaining and photographic evidence of her utter happiness, everyone was content. It was a sudden change and quite a shock, that the glasses and braces wearing nerd turned into the ecstatic risk taker - but fortune does favor the brave. She was offered multiple jobs and adventures that she now pursues, such as product tester to one of the world's largest candy companies.
