So I have a friend who once got really really confused about clover honey and why it was different from other honeys, like I mean they had an existential crisis over why it was different.
They got it once it was explained to them but still, kinda funny.
So tell me, what simple thing confuses the heck out of this Babusagi?

The one thing the really confuses Honey is how bee's can fly with such
tiny wings compared to their body and it doesn't help they are pretty
fast too so that just adds to her confusion.

Tria was stooped down in front of a marigold bud which stood stock-straight by the side of the road, like some bright green soldier whose orange hair was just beginning to grow in. The little babusagi had stopped so suddenly in her tracks that her two friends nearly tripped over her.

"Hey!"

"Oh, sorry."

But Tria didn't look up as she apologized, nor did she seem very sorry. Her plum eyes were still trained on the little bloom with the kind of intensity her friends had only ever seen her regard a soccer ball with. They dearly hoped she wasn't going to try and kick the flower into oblivion.

"Eh it's fine, let's go. We're going to be late for practice."

Her pair of friends began to set off again but barely made it a couple yards down the road before they realized Tria wasn't following.

"Oi, I said come on. We're really going to be late."

"But why do we never see them grow? This is a serious question!"

At first her friend's laughed, saying that was an awfully funny joke but they seriously did need to head out. But seeing a small frown cross Tria's usually grinning face was enough to kill their laughter quite suddenly.

"Er, I don't know. I guess it just happens too slowly? They grow slower than us, even at this rate."

The joke fell relatively flat with Tria who just nodded thoughtfully, a clear sign that something was wrong. One of her friends checked their watch and took a sharp intake of breath upon reading it's glowing face.

"We really got to go Tria, you can do your research later."

"I'm going to watch it."

"What?"

Tria waved a paw as if to indicate sitting on the edge of a relatively busy row and staring at a flower for hours was a perfectly sane and logical way to spend her time.

"I'm going to see it grow for myself. You guys go ahead, tell the coach I'm sick or something."

And she settled down in the scraggly grass so she had a close up view of the marigold. Already her eyes were starting to hurt from the strain of focusing in such a low level of light but the babusagi didn't care. Her friends exchanged a look and simply shrugged. Once Tria had made up her mind almost nothing could change it.

"Okay, we'll check up on you later."

"Mhmm."

When her friends finally did return, sweaty and tired and sore over the fact that they had lost their game, they found Tria sitting in the exact same spot, fast asleep. In front of her the marigold had unfolded it's petals, which shone pale gold in the watery light of a nearby streetlamp. They shook her into a half-awake state and led her home despite her protests.

"I never saw it bloom! I was there the whole time, how didn't I see? Flower ninjas I tell you!"

It was the first of many attempts on Tria's part to watch a flower grow, every subsequent attempt failing just as spectacularly and leaving her utterly confused but equally determined to try again.
