"This lovely stallion is a fairly calm old boy, likely stemming from his partial deafness. According to his papers he used to be a therapy animal at a local kids camp before they unexpectedly shut down and had to sell off all their equines. As a last resort, all twelve of their ponies ended up here, slaughter bound despite their loving personalities. Our rescuers were so touched by the story that they ended up making a separate quarter back at the SWE facility to house all of them together and hopefully adopt out in groups or at least pairs. Amazingly, a local non-profit therapy group came to the rescue, and took in every single SWE from that quarter - except for this one, as they didnt want to bring a stallion into the group, despite his calm demeanor. As such he was left to be adopted out on his own, and hopefully bring a little joy to someones world with the short time he had left."
